Dorian decided not to poke at that conversation anymore. It was just making Logan miserable. Besides, he'd rather play fight with him instead. He laughed. "What, is 'meme' too normie for you? Not cool enough? You know, they used to say nerds are the future, 'cause they control the internet and stuff like that. Maybe you should get with the times." He laughed. "You know, he better not! I'll kick his ass if he does."

When they were near the intersection, he turned left. It was a lot drowsier city district. Dorian didn't recognize it, but Logan was the boss. "Fine, fine. Clarence and I will just sue each other and throw money at the problem until we're both satisfied. Oh, hey, careful there..." He patted him on the back. "Don't choke!"

Dorian made another turn, and he was starting to recognize the place better. Huh. "Good directions, hun. You know, it's good that you're getting along with Antoinette. You two have similar interests in beauty and art. Kindred spirits, or something." Dorian wasn't their type, no. He was all charisma and business. He tried to think of what he was saying earlier, but ended up just furrowing his eyebrows. "The impression... Shit, I forgot what I was saying. Oh! Maybe, the impression that it's dangerous to be in a room with Julian alone. I'm not trying to spread shit, by the way. He just gives off this feeling of being... very dangerous. To me, at least."

It was an odd feeling. Julian was a perfectly polite and lovely man. But Dorian had good intuition about people, and Julian, quite frankly, just scared him in his boots. They got to the art gallery and parked the car outside of the gardens. It was beautiful, really, the flowers blooming splendidly at this time of the year. Dorian turned off the engine and walked towards the Art Gallery, gesturing for Logan to follow.

There were several men taking the paintings out. Julian was at the door with a clipboard, making sure every piece was accounted for. He looked over at the two of them.

"Mr. Crawford. Logan." Julian nodded. He turned his attention back to the artwork. "I am only renting these, and the clothes, out to you for the afternoon. Please sign this waiver ensuring me that should any of them be tampered and damaged in any way, you will be forced to pay a fine twice as much as the original price of the painting."

Dorian sighed and signed it, handing the clipboard back to Julian. Julian nodded. "The clothes?"

Julian gestured for him and Logan to follow him into the second floor. There, the clothes were on the mannequins, ready to be worn. It was a lovely Halloween line — thematic, but not tacky at all. Dorian checked them out with almost childish fascination.
