Appearance Description: Rey stands at around 5’9” which was rather tall for his day and age. He is fairly average weight and muscle wise. He has dark brown hair and light almost pale skin.
The most prominent thing about him is his eyes, or almost lack there of. His eyes are pitch black, seeming more like dark orbs than eyes. For clothing Rey normally wears a dark brown duster jacket with jeans.
Personality Description:Rey is an extremely cautious fellow. He is isn’t the person to initiate a conversation and instead waits for someone else to. Most of the time he seems skittish as he is constantly in deep thought and may possible have sudden outbursts of emotions depending on his realizations. While in his pawn shop Rey is much more calm and collected, trying to keep a facade for his customers. Strangely enough if threatened in a combat scenario Rey continues his calm collected self as if it was another person, which partly is the case due to him being tied to a nightmarish abomination who sees death as “inevitable circumstances.”.

Disturbed Aura: Looking into Rey’s pitch black eyes will give the watcher a feeling of uneasiness or uncomfort for as long as they look into them
Nightmarish Link: Rey is linked to a being that is outside of this realm and perhaps even reality. The creature has ‘corrupted’ Rey’s vital organs allowing him to live without food or water, though he can still eat and drink for the taste of the food. He also seems be incapable of aging, remaining his young self even after hundreds of years.
Powers:
Awaken: Rey can ‘awaken’ the dormant abomination he is linked to, causing it to take control for a short period of time. This creature morphs and twists Rey’s body to a monstrous ten foot creature with arms and claws that reach down to it’s ankles. The creature is rather fast for its size and is quite strong, being able to lift around 5 tons. While in the awakened form Rey’s mind is very limited in its actions, incapable of making a complex thought and relies solely on his instinct for decisions.

Dark Claws: Rey can shift his hands into smaller versions of the nightmare’s claws at any time but of course lacks it’s mobility and strength.
Ancient Recall:
Rey can delve into the history or function of almost any object, be it earthly or other worldly and seem to know everything there is to know about it. He does this by tapping into the memories of the ancient being he is tied to, taking a part of its boundless knowledge. Once Rey falls asleep the knowledge he gained on the object is lost.
Biography: Rey Bether was born in the Late Medieval Era in Europe. His life was extremely dull for the most part, only getting interesting right after his marriage with a lovely woman named Morgan. Soon after he married Morgan his mind was plagued by dreams of rituals and incantations. At first Rey thought nothing of them, but eventually his curiosity peaked. As he performed these rituals he could do amazing things such as raise the dead or cure seemingly incurable diseases. Rey came to believe that he might eventually be able to prevent death itself with the right spell. His wife Morgan was rather pessimistic about the situation however. She believed that Rey would eventually bite off more than he could chew, which is exactly what happened. One late night Morgan found Rey performing a dark ritual in their basement. Worried for his life, Morgan tried to stop Rey. Rey only responded with violence, pushing her into the ritual area. The moment she entered she was impaled, dying as a sacrifice to summon the nightmarish creature that bonded to Rey. How the two became bonded after the event is unclear but Rey now roams Manta Carlos, using his new abilities to make a living and try to find a way to bring his wife back.
