Rainy Night

Ian walked deeper into the forest. It was drizzling out a little, althoguh when he had left school it was failry nice out. He had walked a considerably long distance already and since it was 11:30 at night, he decided to stop. Ian sat on a rock and it began to pour. His wet hair draped down covering his face and water began to drip from his bangs. It was warm when he left so he had only gone out in a t-shirt. Ian listened as the rain bounced off the treetops to the ground below and felt a few drops run down his cheecks, over his lips, and then drop off his chin to the floor. Ian moved his bangs out of his eyes and watched a little squirrel nearby scamper off uner a bush. Ian looked up at the tops of the trees and let the rainwater pour down onto his face and then dropped his head down letting his hair fall back down over his face as water still continued to pour down.

A tall young man with an umbrella in hand, pike in the other hand, trudging curiously through the damp forest.
Mekira grinned.
"Depressed? Or just feel like getting wet? Like your mother said, 'You'll catch your death of cold like that'"

ian looked through his hair at the person who had just spoken. "I don't know." said Ian, "Both I guess." he said as he looked at the person through the strands of wet hair draped over his face.

Mekira chuckled.
"Well, you really ought to get some cover. Trivial teenage depression is no reason for you to get sick."
