Private Finished Pretty Girl on the Bad Side of Town

At night, some undesirable sorts of people roam the streets. And in a cold night like this, they seem to be even more active. Belladonna fell into what would be called the bad side of town, but it really wasn't that. It just happened that some delinquents crossed her path.

Belladonna was only supposed to drop off a letter from Sarah in the post office and then come back home as soon as possible, but realizing that it'd be good to test out the AI's recognition software, Sarah allowed her to wander the town while she monitored her actions remotely. Sarah had nudged her into going to the park from the post office, but allowed her to look around the immediate area. She would have liked to walk along with her creation, but after that car accident, she wouldn't be able to handle walking for very long.

Then at the edge of The Strip, a group of four boys, teenagers and possibly part of a gang considering their leather jackets were nearly identical in markings, approached the android. They called her over, and Belladonna walked towards them, not knowing any better.

"Yes?" she said innocently, eyes staring at them, studying their facial features.

"You look like you could use some company," one of them said as the other three surrounded her, grinning like wolves.

Sarah was aware all of this was happening, and while she didn't like it, she had to see how Belladonna would handle the situation. And in response, the android blinked and said, "Do I?"

"Yes, what do you say we go someplace where we can have some fun?" the teen said, hooking his arm over her shoulders.

"The park?"

"Oh, somewhere even better." Without waiting for her to respond, they began ushering her to The Strip. Having found no danger in this situation, Belladonna simply walked along with them, not knowing what she was in for.

The boy with an arm around her and pulled closer to him, tilting his head to her just enough for her to feel it. Belladonna thought this was a nice gesture, one that she had no problem mirroring, which seemed to make the teen happy. And that was good, wasn't it?

But then they suddenly stopped walking when someone shouted out to them. Neither of them looked happy.

Belladonna looked at the girl, questioningly tilting her head. Why would she stop them like that? And why did all of them suddenly became angry?

The boy didn't remove his arm away from Belladonna, in fact, he pulled her even closer. Strange. "What? We were just walking to a fun little place, right, sweetheart?"

Belladonna nodded, but she still looked confused. "That's what they told me."

"See? It's all good. Do you want to join us too? We'd love to have some more company."

The leader's face looked as smug as ever. Belladonna's was as confused as ever. She didn't know what this was about, but from what she gathered, this 'fun' wasn't... good? But wasn't fun supposed to make someone happy? Was it an alias for another word then? There was a call for caution though, as the girl appeared to be making threats, to which the others didn't take too kindly. It seems a fight was in order.

Still holding on to his prize, the teen just scoffed. "Why do you care, anyway? It's not like we're making her do anything she's against. She's not even trying to push me away, so that means she's completely fine with this, doesn't it?"

The other three stuck their hands in their jackets, likely to grab hold of any weapons they were carrying.

Belladonna assessed that this situation was becoming too tense for her safety. "I don't think I should be here any longer."

"Don't worry, doll. Once this lady leaves us alone, we'll be out of here."

"Oh? You're threatening us now? Heh, get a load of this girl." The boy stroked the android's hair. "You might want to look away. This will get ugly, but it seems this one just won't give up."

The three other thugs pulled out their butterfly knives and spread out a little. Their leader also took his out. "If you know what's good for you, you'll leave us alone. Or else." He glared at the woman who dared to draw a sword on them. He gave her a look, and then a sinister one towards Belladonna which the android failed to see.

If it wasn't already clear, he was using his own threats to make the do-gooder back off. He was silently saying that he would be hurting the girl in his arms if she continued to insist on being a troublemaker. "I'll say this one last time. Go away."

In a span of a split second, Belladonna's new friend had suddenly lurched forward, and she herself was pulled away. The girl was now in front of her, setting herself between the android and the four thugs who looked a bit more displeased than before.

Belladonna still lacked a lot of parameters to decide which one to help, and so she abstained from getting involved in the action. Perhaps this was one of those rituals where the groups would fight for the right to possess a prize? Was she the prize? That would cause a little conflict since she already belonged to someone, and she knew that her mother wouldn't like losing her property.

"Tch. So that's how it is?" He wasn't about to let the girl off the hook that easily, but out of the corner of his eye, he spotted someone else a little farther away behind the two girls. A cop! "What a drag. Fine, whatever. We're not here for trouble." He turned around but glanced back at Belladonna, winking at her. "We'll see you next time, sweetheart," he said before the group walked away and turned into an alley.
