The cafe was a quiet little out-of-the-way place. It was nearly empty, even at lunchtime, but there were a couple people drinking tea at a table in the corner. It looked very clean, with polished wooden floors and deep green walls. There were a couple of tables with chairs inside, but the bulk of the cafe's seating was outside, and not in use during the winter.
It was not the sort of place Fatima usually went. It didn't even have coffee! But she had tried to find a place for her and Haru to have a nice conversation where she wouldn't be starving or overly hyper. Someone had suggested this place because it had good bubble tea. The young horseman was actually excited by this because bubble tea was a thing she had never had before and trying new foods was one of her favourite things. Possibly even above trying new people.
As the redhead walked in, she just took in the atmosphere for a moment. It was so quiet, and it was actually relaxing to not be around crowds of hungry people. It was so unusual for that to be the case this time of day. Next, she looked around to see if Haru was already there. She'd tried to be early, so she could get a drink before Haru got there, but the other woman seemed the punctual type, so Fatima wasn't sure she was early enough to get there first. At least the lack of a crowd meant she'd be easy enough to spot.
