Plot Tarts, Up for Grabs

Okay. Juuuuuust gonna throw up one of these. To talk about my children and their plots~

Briar Rose Scribe - Quilt Dragon from another dimension with sleep based magic and the ability to turn into a dragon made of fabric. He's looking to go into early childhood education and make a comfortable life on the island for himself.

• Interested in:
  • Making friends
  • Meeting people in need of help sleeping or trouble with dreams.
  • Finding a job at the hospital or perhaps other places where his sleep powers could be utilized.

Delaney Lavoux - Eldritch touched human with knowledge manipulation and voices that tell her what's going on across the universe. Blind and guided by her service dog, Georgette. She likes to think she's a cool goth, but really she's an excitable dork with a great sense of fashion.

• Interested in:
  • Interactions with Elder/Eldritch beings on the island.
  • Meeting other blind or seeing impaired islanders.
  • Forming a goth clan
  • Meeting vampires and werewolves so she could not gush over them.
  • Offering to use her powers to help people forget knowledge. . . for a price.
• What I have Planned:
  • Delaney learning new magical powers. Possibly dark/black magics.
  • Necromancy is not off the table.
  • A slow and steady decent into deeper and deeper paranoia.

Delaney being a fairly new character is in her grace period still. Things are okay for her. It's not gonna last. But for now she can just be a magical girl on a magical island~

My other child however. . .

Jae Yi-Lin - Merman with siren powers he tries to keep hidden (and usually fails) and doing his best to not be awkward or boring. He's taking strides to better himself, and has joined the school's armature theater club.

He has a couple plots going with other characters, but also a character arc plot between him and his aunt, whom he lives with on the island. His aunt. . . is not a bad person per say. . . but she should not be his guardian. Jae has also recently learned that his biological mother is not dead, but actually very much alive. That's a thing he's dealing with now. His aunt is currently a named npc but open to adopt and I think I'll let his mother be adoptable as well. However, I don't plan on her being part of his life just yet. You can message for details if interested.

The other side to his plots/wants is that the mer colony his aunt and mother hail from have recently made a move from the Narrow Reality to an elemental plane of water. It was a rough move and some mer have decided to move to Manta Carlos instead. Most of the mer who are making the move are human-blooded like Jae (meaning they can shift between human and mer form without the need of a human shape bracelet). So if anyone wishes to make a mer character consider the colony! I can give more details about their powers/culture upon request.

Other than that here's my general list:

• Interested in:
  • More friends. He needs them.
  • Friends/people to notice his craptastic home-life. Pointing out that he shouldn't have to apologize for/make excuses for his aunt.
  • Swimming buddies. Anyone with aquatic powers out there?
• What I have Planned:
  • Developing his non-siren powers (like hydrokinesis)
  • His home situation degrading.
  • Who knows, I'll think of other things.

@Zora - Ecta would be interesting with Delaney! Since a lot of Delaney's powers revolve around knowledge and information. Delaney would be mistrustful at first, but perhaps Ecta will have the answers Dela is looking for.

@PixelatedGlory - Jae and Alexis sounds interesting! It could be fun for them to meet in the middle of the ocean! It would also be interesting to have Aura and Delaney meet again. Perhaps under better circumstances? Maybe Delaney can try to apologize better for her initial reaction.
