Appearance Description: Pip is about foot tall and has the proportions of a young child. They have orange-ish red hair and forest green eyes. They wear a cute orange and yellow hat, a short sleeved orange and yellow coat, brown shorts, and black boots. They also have fingerless orange and yellow gloves that match their hat. They have tiny blue wings but these can be poof-ed away when not in use. They also have an orange-ish red trumpet that hangs from their side on a strap like a messenger bag.
Personality Description: Pip is an extraverted and friendly Birthday Fairy who always has a smile on their face. They were incarnated with the purpose of celebrating every birthday on Manta Carlos island. They want to see everyone as joyful as they are; their biggest goal in life is to serve others and have fun (not necessarily in that order though).
Pip is very dedicated to their job but they are just as passionate about baking as they are celebrating birthdays. If they aren't away at a party, they can found slaving away over a new sugary recipe or at a board meeting hashing out all the details of running the islands largest bakery company. They are extremely bright and in-tune with everything going on around them. They have very strong visions for what it is they want and where it is they are going. Part of this is due to the Fairy Knowledge they possess that has been handed down to them through all the other incarnations of the Birthday Fairy. Despite this, Pip can sometimes come off as young and naive due to their fun loving (and party loving) nature.
While many may assume Pip has a "good" moral compass, they are actually very neutral. They want to see people enjoying their birthdays and they are more than happy to celebrate however that party wishes to celebrate; be it with a piñata and fruit punch or a strip club and lots of booze. Pip actually loves to drink and will never say no to rum!
Pip is an asexual creature; they have zero interest in sexual or romantic relationships of any kind, ever. They love their friends though and are a great listener. They are extremely loyal to those who reach out to them and accept them; once you have this fairy on your side, they are in it 'till the bitter end.
Most of the time, Pip is wrapped up in other people and they don't take much time to do things for themselves. However, when they do get the sudden urge for some "Me Time", Pip will fly around the island for a few hours; they like to enjoy the view and breathe in some fresh air.
Pip has a mischievous and controlling side. This doesn't come out often and seems to be brought on by unknown circumstances that greatly affect Pip's behavior. This is the only time that Pip can be seen in a not-so-joyful mood. There are a few legends floating around about the mischief the little guy has caused one of these moods struck. One says that Pip once used their magical trumpet to start a riot downtown. Another says that Pip is involved in some shady activities with the Underground. If you ask them about this though, they just giggle and give you a cupcake. Why would Pip the Birthday Fairy be involved in those sorts of a thing? They are just here to party and make cakes.

- Speed Baking: Pip's magic cuts baking time down to a quarter of the average. They can bake and decorate a cake from scratch in under fifteen minutes.
- Extra Yummy: The magic doesn't just get the baking done faster, it also gets it done better! Everything Pip bakes tastes like it was made by the sugar gods.
- Cake Calling: Pip can make baked goods appear, seemingly from thin air. These are already made treats and come from one of Pip's bakery shops. Because of the expanse of their bakery empire, they are never in short supply of cakes and other goodies.
Magical Trumpet Skills: Pip's trumpet is for more than just playing people awesome birthday songs; they can play tunes that can literally change your mood, influence your emotions and even affect your actions. The songs will affect anyone who can hear it and the longer someone listens to one of Pip's songs, the more it will affect them. It is most often used to help lift dampened spirits and help people enjoy their special day, however this is also the ability that Pip uses when one of those mischievous moods hits. Pip can play their trumpet very softly so just those within a room can hear it or quite loudly so that it can be heard from over a mile away. It is possible to block out the sound but you will need some really good noise canceling head phones.

- Mood will be affected while songs are playing. Typically songs will bring about feelings of joy, love and self acceptance.
- Emotions: mental state spontaneously arriving from physiological changes
- Moods will slowly become emotional changes. The longer songs are listened to, the more permanent the emotional changes will be. Once the song has stopped, emotions will hold anywhere from 0-10 minutes, depending on the listeners openness to the emotion. For example, if someone is angry and Pip plays a song to make them feel happy, they may start to feel some happiness while listening to the song but once it stops, if they are determined to go back to being angry, they can fight off the emotional change in a less than a minute. If they are open to becoming happy and staying happy, then the song will keep affect for up to ten minutes and can make it easier for them to choose happiness once the effect of the song has worn off.

- If a song is played with the intent of causing someone to act in a certain way, and it is listened to the whole way through, then it will produce a desire to perform that action. For example, if Pip wants someone to go dance and play a song to produce that action, then once the song if finished the listener will experience an extremely strong desire to go dance. If going to dance is something the listener would normally never do, then it is possible for them to ignore this desire. If it is something they are very likely to do of their own free will, then it becomes very likely that they will go dance.
Species Abilities:
Birthday Sensory: They can sense a birthday from miles away (literally) but none outside of the Manta Carlos region. Even if you aren't planning a celebration, Pip will be there to play you a birthday song on their trumpet and give you some birthday treats! This only applies to creatures currently residing on Manta Carlos Island. Also, you must be aware of the date of your birth in order for Pip to come visit you on your birthday. If you lack this knowledge, Pip will not be able to sense the arrival of your special day.
Winged Flight: Pip's tiny little wings are pretty powerful. These babies can take them from one end of the island to the other in a matter of minutes. They have to be able to do this in order to keep up with all the birthday parties they must attend. It doesn't take them any time to "get up to speed"; this allows them to be able to zip around a baking room at lightning pace.
Fairy Body: Pip is literally made out of diamonds and magic. Despite their size, Pip is about as strong as the average adult male. Since they are literary made of diamonds, their body is very resilient. However, they can take on damage. Just as it is possible to break, scratch, or chemically damage a diamond, it is possible to do the same to Pip. If they are damaged, they will need to be repaired. This can be done my someone with magical abilities and some diamonds from the islands founding pirates. They don't need food to survive but they do need rest though not very much; about six hours a month is enough. Magic will have its usual effect on Pip.
Fairy Knowledge: The Birthday Fairy has existed for as long as people have been celebrating birthdays, and while the incarnation of Pip has only been around for just over 700 years, they possess all the knowledge of the Birthday Fairy entity. Essentially, the have a great understanding for the world and how life on it functions.
Almost Immortal: Pip can be killed but there are three ways you can go about doing so. First, is to completely destroy their body. This would involve chemically breaking down the diamonds that they are made of. Second, is to get over fifty percent of the Manta Carlos population to stop believing in Pip the Birthday Fairy. And third, is to cut off Pip's wings with an enchanted silver blade, recite an ancient spell and then burn their wings in hellfire. Pip would then cease to exist in their current incarnation though the Birthday Fairy itself would continue to be an entity, just no longer available to the inhabitants of Manta Carlos, SO DON'T SCREW THIS UP FOR EVERYONE!
Pip does have an "expiration date"; their life span is tied to the birthday's of the island, so as long as there are people on Manta Carlos adding another year to their life, Pip will be there. If for some reason everyone abandoned the island and there were no more birthdays to celebrate, Pip could case to exist. So technically, there are four ways to kill them.
Biography: The Birthday Fairy is an entity that has existed for almost all of time but it incarnates in many different forms depending on the region. Pip was formed from the diamonds brought to the island by pirates back in July of 1400 and that is where their memories began. However, due to the Fairy Knowledge they posses, they skipped any sort of "growing up". They have spent their entire life celebrating the birthdays of the inhabitants of Manta Carlos and have never missed a single party. Because of this they are extremely well connected and know just about everyone on the island.
In the late 1800s, Pip opened a bakery called PipsCake. It started as small shop run by Pip and a few fairy friends, but has since expanded into "PipsCake and Co."; the largest baked goods company on the island. Pip is the CEO, President and co-owner of the company. The other fairies run the shops and Pip is in charge of creating the ingredients at the factory. The fairies are the only ones allowed in the building and claim this is to protect their secret recipes.

*PipsCake and Co. has one main factory where all the basic ingredients are created. They are then shipped to one of four shop locations on the island.
