Stefan's remark was based in his own personal experience. The Valkyries weren't blood, but they most definitely were family. He smiled as they approached the counter and placed the two cased of brews up on it for the employee to begin checking out.
"Absolutely understandable. I appreciate you taking this much time out of your day Mr. Sandoval."
Stefan saw the extended hand and without hesitation extended his own in a handshake. His grip was firm taking care not to use his ability and break the man's hand. Mathos grip was cold. Really cold, and as he shook his hand a chill, almost like finger walking, traced up his arm and to his neck causing a small shiver.
