Additional Information:
* Percy was kidnapped and held captive for nearly 9 years. After such events, he is in denial and dislikes remembering his past. In an effort to lead a normal life, he has compartmentalized to an extreme, doing his best to box his true past away and instead pretending it never happened. He tries desperately not to think of the truth. Instead, he tells stories of a past he never lived, one that he might have had he never been abducted. A lot of the plotlines for this life come from books he has read and shows/movies he has watched, as he has no real experience in the world after age 10. As such, his life can sometimes be contradictory to those listening in, and a bit unbelievable.

Powers:
Percival has the ability to not only revitalize existing people, animals and plants, but to create new flora if he so wishes.
When it comes to revitalization, Percy can heal fatigue in people, heal tiredness and mild sickness in animals, and revive a plant from the edge of complete death. Reviving a mature tree takes more time as well as nearly all of Percy’s energy, but a single flower takes only seconds and almost no effort whatsoever.
Revitalizing animals takes considerable concentration, and humans are very hard and very tiring. For the latter, it would feel almost as though Perce is filling their energy with his own at a 1:1 ratio.
Finally, Percival is able to create (and manipulate the movement/positions of) his own plants. At maximum he can create a small tree, and this takes much effort. Flowers are very easy and can be created in bulk, but overall, creating plants is more difficult and tiring than healing them.
Percy has the potential to learn to physically heal both animals and humans, increasing his power over the two categories of creatures to the equivalent of what he can do for plants. However, this would require training on his part.

Though Percival has an innately beautiful and moving voice, he is able to take his abilities a step further, infusing emotions and even memories into his music. Others are unable to detect what his music does to them even if this power is affecting them, as the emotions and images given to them would feel genuine and generated by the affected person themselves. Of course, if memories are transferred, they can sometimes appear very specific, including details that would not have occurred to the listener naturally; it is in these times that a listener may catch on, though this is not an excuse to metagame.
Percival is aware of this power, but he has poor control over it. He is not a manipulative person. and thus rarely uses this power purposely as a form of manipulation. However, he may use it to convey particular emotions or memories he is unable to otherwise speak aloud. This is all conscious thought. This power sometimes manifests itself without conscious activation, especially when Percival becomes truly lost in the music and succumbs to the emotional aspects of it.
Generally speaking, the emotions conveyed through his music should align with the lyrics or other tones naturally suggested through the song. A song about suicide really shouldn’t make someone feel elated; a song about being peacefully in love should not provoke terror (unless someone is REALLY afraid of commitment or something; then, that’s all really subjective and totally up to the roleplayer).
Of course, there are limits to this power. The range for this power is hearing range; if the power is active, anyone able to hear the music is affected, unless they have a power specific to resisting emotional manipulation.
Also, this power is not really a form of mind control. Percy cannot change a person’s motives or make them act unnaturally, aside from perhaps prompting smiles, laughter, tears, etc. His powers lie specifically in transmitting emotions and memories.

Species Traits:
Opposable thumbs
Parents: Amelia Mary Thatcher [Amelia, mother, status unknown]; Unknown Father
Siblings: N/A
Other Family: N/A
Other Significant Figures: Lily Eloise Baker [Eloise, former “housemate,” deceased]; Henry Jacob Cooke [Cooke, former captor, alive]
History:
- Born to Amelia Mary Thatcher in Scotland. Unknown father.
- Generally happy childhood
- Mother battled illness but was a wonderful parent. Little money, but happy.
- Got along well in school; Some bullying, but good looks, intelligence and kindness helped him out.
- Just after 10th birthday, kidnapped by Henry Jacob Cooke, a former substitute teacher from Percy’s kindergarten class
- Held captive inside Cooke’s remote rural house alongside Lily Eloise Baker, a 21 year old woman whom Cooke kidnapped a few years prior
- Both subjected to physical, emotional and sexual abuse at the hands of their captor
- Discovered nature powers while tending Cooke’s plants; Eloise helped disguise and train them
- Age 13, Eloise [then 23 and pregnant] attempted to escape; she was shot and disposed of in the woods by Cooke
- Soon after, they abandoned the house after destroying evidence
- Cooke foraged papers, and they drove to England, beginning a new life as farmhands in a very remote area. Lived in a small trailer, with Percival acting as Cooke’s “nephew” to their employers
- Due to learned helplessness, Percy never tried to escape
- They were soon able to relocate to a more pleasant house, but it was still quite remote
- Because of his apparent “loyalty” at work, Percy earned the privilege of the internet, though communications websites were blocked
- He was also gifted an acoustic guitar for his 15th birthday from Cooke, as well as the privilege to explore the outside without Cooke as long as he was in hearing distance and could return to visible range within 60 seconds
- Age 15, Cooke told Percy his mother was dead, and the boy could never find evidence to prove him wrong
- Percy discovered and began to practice his musical abilities after first discovering their use on Cooke
- Eventually, Cooke began to host small get-togethers, still introducing Percy as his nephew. Percy never spoke out, never hinted at his real predicament, due again to learned helplessness
- He actually learned to be quite social and charismatic between television
- Because of this, Cooke began to occasionally bring Percy into town, around age 16, to places such as the library and the grocery store
- Age 17, Perce was gifted a prepaid cellphone for his birthday. Cooke trusted Percival enough to leave him alone overnight, and then multiple nights. The stays away progressively got longer, and Percy never tried to escape, though it began to be tempting once again
- Finally, age 18, ten days passed one stretch and Percy was beginning to run out of food — even in the emergency stores. Cooke showed no sign of returning, and would not answer his cellphone; he was likely arrested, dead, or on a bender, and for the first time in many years, Percy saw a chance to escape
- He gathered what was left of the food in the house, as well as matches and a gun (and anything that could assist him, like on those survival shows he watched) and fled into the woods. He brought no technology — nothing that could allow Cooke to track him
- For the first week, he was terrified all the time and just kept running north, in the direction of his compass (and in the opposite direction of the town Cooke frequented). He hunted small animals and drank from streams
- However, when that first week was over and Cooke never showed, Perce began to relax. Within the next few days of constant movement, he eventually came upon a small town, which was a lifesaver, as the chill and the water had made him ill
- Here, he was able to find shelter with a kind elderly woman, whom he answered no questions for but whom he received treatment from nevertheless. Unbeknownst, she saw him using his powers, and, being an old former student herself, contacted a scout she used to know
- It took time and deliberation, and a considerable leap of faith on Percival’s part, but eventually he did decide to come to Manta Carlos with the scout, though the only information he ever supplied was his name
