Eben stood near a river, the water was clear, though no fish could be seen. He held a smooth rock in his hand that was as big as his palm, then he ran his thumb on it's surface. His eyes looked at the water, watching it flow. It was peaceful here, even if the air was bitter with cold.

Again he was wearing white, as it was his favorite color. He reached out his hand and dropped it in the river, and it hit with a small splash. He watched as it quickly dropped to the bottom.

He let out a sigh, this seemed to be the only peace he could find from the school. He had left from the hospital wing when he was visiting his cousin Trephas, and a girl... Lex, was what Trephas called her. He had excused himself saying he had a class but it was a mere lie. He just wanted to leave before memory's flooded his mind.

Artimist walked down to the river. It hade been awile since he had had some alone time. Ulia was in his room playing with the cactus corner decoration. He noticed a boy down by the lake. Guess no alone time now, he thought. Artimist sat down on a nearby rock. He wanted to try his powers again. He took out his flower sword and sliced a dead flower bud. "Grev'iera Du' Gro" he said in his elven voice. The flower bud opened in full bloom to a beautiful white tulip. He grined to himself. He could do it.

Eben turned his head to notice another boy, younger by the looks of it. Eben merely turned his head not wanting to know anyone's past right now. At least my cousin doesn't mind when I see his past, I wonder how other people would feel? He thought for a second, almost tempted to look into the boy's past, mostly because he heard the elven language, but was afraid to find that the past would be... painful, since he could feel the pain.

Right then a random past sprang up into his mind, he then looked oblivious to everything around him, his eyes looking forward, dimmed.

Laughter. Loud laughter. Quick footsteps. Pounding foot. Fear. Deep fear. A gunshot. A scream. Pain. More laughter.

A sharp pain filled Eben's body, that felt like a gun had shot him there. He let out a gasp, in pain, and he was breathing a bit hard. Who... Mother... He thought. "Where'd they take my family?..." He whispered so softly he hardly could even hear himself.

Specter had floated down to the river and become visible again. He sat down on the grass. It was difficult to tell how he was feeling if you didn't know him. His eyes were glowing green as he laid dow on the grass. His face held no emotion and his body was see through. There was a pair of people nearby. Specter turned his head and watched them intently.
