"Ah this is the place yes Conscience?" asked Tengu out loud as the AI voice in her head confirms that this was the place where should find the one elusive part that needs replacement. Something something flux exchanger or something so that the battery in her back doesn't kill via electrocution or cooking her insides. Sort of needs those gooey bits to live. At least it gives her an excuse to go an another visit to the SPACE station.

"Alright if you say so... HELLO ANYBODY!" announced Tengu as she just waltz inside the parts shop, hopeful that whomever was inside would be able to help her "I am looking for a... a... err... a flux... capacity... exchanger... uhhh... a THING! I am looking for a thing! Anybody?"

As Tengu looked for someone whom looked like they worked here, she marveled at all of the doodads and techno-ma-thingies laid out throughout the store. They all looked neat... though she could not guess the function or purpose of half things she was seeing... actually more 3/4 of things when she things about it. While she may have a high tech body, that didn't really make her tech savvy.

Rigel was actually in the back room when Tengu came in. After a few rounds of rock paper scissors, he headed out to the front of the store. It was a pretty slow day anyway. He had to sort of double take at the person in the shop. It wasn't unusual to get a cyborg or robot in the shop, but this lady had some pretty extensive machinery. Pretty bulky for his tastes, but still some impressive hardware.

"Ah! Sorry about that we were just doing a bit of organizing in the back. You said you were looking for a flux capacity exchange?" he said to her with a cheery smile. She was definitely new here, based on her phrasing she wasn't quite sure what she was looking for. That was something that wasn't totally uncommon. Most people with cybernetics had someone else they went to to handle maintenance. He headed over to a section on a wall a little ways away from Tengu. "I'm not totally sure what kind your looking for, but we're definitely not lacking in most of the standard types."

"Yes! Wait... conscience... that is what I am looking for right?" asked Tengu though they directed their question to their "inner conscience". She nods her head a bit as if to confirm to a mysterious voice that only she can hear. "Okay yes that's right! But I really need a specific one... oh right the paper!"

Tengu then fished out a flyer from her pack that details the exact model and specs of the device she required. She then holds it out to Rigel for him to take.

"Here you go mister..." Tengu then scans his upper torso region, clearly trying to find his name tag.

Rigel was kind of used to this sort of thing with customers. Especially new ones. That said his friendliness and overall helpful attitude was what kept a lot of people coming back to the shop. The owner loved him for that alone.

"Ah it's Rigel," he took the paper, looking it over. He then pulled out his work tablet, punching in a few commands and bringing up several holographic screens around him. The screens directed him to the part's exact location. "Ah there you are."

He deactivated his tablet, and pulled the part off the shelf. "You gonna need help installing this guy?"

"Rigel! Niiice meeting ya!" cheeped Tengu, following Rigel as the holographic screens direct them where the parts are located. As he pulls up his screens Tengu followed him to where the part was stocked. After a quick inspection and confirmation with her internal virtual intelligence she was able to confirm this was exactly what she needed.

"Ah, thank you! And... uhh... yeah I think I will need some help installing. If this part isn't installed correctly it might just end up killing me... " Tengu blinked, then gives Rigel a sheepish smile "... not to worry you or anything..."

Tengu then awkwardly looks around for a bit, a bit embarrassed for just blurting that tiny detail out loud as she didn't want to put so much pressure on poor Rigel.

"So... umm... will you be able to help install it for me?"

"Well, it looks simple enough to install, but I do also make it a personal habit to try not to be responsible for the death of anyone," he said after a moment. He thought about it for another moment. "That said, I do know a guy who's in here fairly frequently. Does work with cybernetics. He also takes walk ins.

Rigel glanced at the clock as he pushed off the ground and drifted over to the cash register. "My shift is almost over though, I could show you where it is if you give me a couple minutes."

"Sure sure! If you could spare me a minute or two on who I should see to have this lil gizmo installed I would be very grateful!" happily agreed Tengu as they nod their head up and down. She moseys her way over to the register and fishes out a credit card to make their payment.

"Sooo... what is the damage this time?" perked up Tengu as she pays for the part that she came in for.

"These little guys are cheaper than you'd think," he said as he gestured to the price that popped
up on the screen for Tengu. All and all a kid could buy one with a couple weeks worth of their allowance. Most parts of this type were fairly common in one form or another.

Once he rang her up he stretched and yawned. "Ah well now I guess it's time to clock out and introduce you to Dizz. I just have to grab my stuff," he explained while he stretched. "I'll be like thirty seconds."

Tengu's jaw dropped at the reasonably low price she was quoted for. Normally she was used to paying for something outrageously expensive when one of her parts broke so to hear that it wasn't going to cost her an arm and a leg was good news! Especially when she doesn't have many arms nor legs to give.

"Well goolly gee! Not nearly as bad as the time they had to replace the attena or fixing up the jet turbine. Is everything here just low cost? I might need to come by here next time when something inevitably breaks." commented Tengu, still heads over heels how they didn't have to sink too much money into this repair job.

"Okay, sounds good Rigel! I'll just be here. waiting."
