"Ugh. This is SO not gucci."
The blonde girl walked across the still-kind-of-damp field from last night's rain in a pair of white Keds. Not the best selection for today's class, but she was not going to sacrifice style in a Phys Ed class that didn't even have volleyball as a unit. Unless volleyball was a type of fighting or something.
The rest of her was well-put together, of course - white shirt, cute little sport shorts... cute little pins on the top. Definitely quirky and cute, but just mature enough to look schoolgirl-ly. Someone had to be, when all the other people were in these weird baggy shirts and droopy gym shorts that left everything to be desired.
As it was, though, her shoes were getting super muddy, and Amelia found herself regretting her shoe choice for the first time since she'd come to the school.
Still, I have to be positive! she thought, as she pasted a smile onto her face and kept striding to the group on the field.
She was almost there, too - when her phone let out possibly THE LOUDEST DING in human history. She could have literally gone deaf.
