Fehralyn had taken note of all the students that had been passing by, and thus had also noticed the freshmen that were discussing something among themselves. None of them seemed to be in her class. Fehr didn't give her any more attention outside noticing them and kept shoveling snow, but she stopped when one of the members of the group approached her. Fehr turned to face the boy, she personally would've been very uncomfortable in such attire, but perhaps the boy had a weakness towards cold.

Fehr also glanced back at the group like the boy did, it was easy to see the boy before her had been chosen and sent to talk to her. Now she only had to see what this was about.
"Yes, that is correct."
Was all Fehr answered, and she looked at the boy, waiting for him to explain himself. She looked at the life energy aura around him and the other members of his group, if they were up to anything else but simple curiosity or advice Fehr would know.

As Zora flicked her wrist and moved another pile of snow to the side of the road, she spotted some students starting to gather around to watch the group remove snow from the road that lead up to the school.

Glancing at a small group of boys, bundled up well, that were watching her and Fenn as they worked, she nodded at them and greeted them. "Did you guys want to help?" she asked curiously.

Fehralyn would find a visible tension in not just the boy who was speaking, but all the boys. They were nervous, and it would be visible in their body language... and in their auras.

Fehralyn answered, and then... nothing. Silence, and the boy shifted, increasingly awkward before Zora broke the tension with her approach.

"Huh?" The boy said, glancing over his shoulder back to his friend. "Uh, no. We just weren't sure if you guys were being like... made to do it or something."

Made to do it? Fehr raised her other brow slightly at that, that was a strange thing to say, why would they think they were forced to do it? Well, in any case Fehr was thankful for Zora's interference, otherwise the boy would've just stayed silent. Since they all were tense and nervous.
"Well, we are not. Merely contributing to the community. You are free to join us if you want. Although I would not recommend it if you have weakness against cold."
Fehr was referring to how thickly the boy was dressed, you were able to sweat while doing this work but that would also steal heat from your body if you stopped even for a moment.

Zora gave Ferhalyn a quick and meaningful glance, like her, she was rather surprised that the boys had assumed they had been forced to help remove the snow.

Placing her hands in her pockets, Zora then nodded her head in agreement, letting Ferh finish before saying anything. "Can I ask why ever you'd think we were made to help out?" she asked the boys, having noted as Ferhalyn talked that the boys seemed somewhat anxious, although she wasn't sure why. It wasn't like their group was scary or imposing.

"It might be cause of me," Riley would suggest, wandering over to join the conversation. "I used to get a lot of detention, and this seems like a detention sort of thing."

It made sense in Riley's head. Plus how that other guy just got out of jail.

Before they could deny this or confirm it, Riley would add: "But I'm really doing it so people will appreciate my destruction powers for once. Also I'm gonna do the thing, so stand back a bit. "

She might as well, since they were already out of the way, having this conversation.

"You are not," Evan corrected Fehralyn. "Some of us have to be here."

He was there as part of his probation, and that meant he didn't really have the right to decline. He'd be shoveling snow whether he wanted to or not. The fact that he'd been arrested was public, and he wasn't bothered by people knowing about it, but he was almost immediately distracted by the other redhead declaring they were going to use their powers. The Evan's moved to the side, herding a few passerby's back away from the snow to make sure they were well clear of the blast.

The boys in the back were exchanging glances and a few quiet words with each other when Evan spoke up, mentioning that he wasn't there voluntarily the way the others were. The boy in front, on the other hand, was too busy going read at Fehr's words.

"Weakne- n-no! I'm not weak to the cold or anything."

One of the boys in the back let out a small laugh at that, but it didn't last, and it didn't catch on. No one seemed to be in much of a laughing mood, with a few watching Riley's display of her power before exchanging yet another set of glances.

"We're going to go," one of the boys said. "You coming, Nick?"

[ OoC: I've said it before, but I'm going to speed things up so we can get to round two of the event stuff. I'm going to be posting every 24 hours, or when everyone's posted - whichever comes first. ]

Zora took one step aside and watched Riley destroy another pile of snow, smiling in little at the looks on the boys' faces. Glancing at Ethan (and the Ethans) as he directed a comment at Feralyn, Zora just sighed and decided then to move along. The two could hash it out between them if they wanted, the boys were obviously just curious onlookers, and truthfully, Zora was starting to feel chilled.

"I am going to keep going," Zora told the group, "If anyone wants to join me?" she offered.

The boy who'd spoken--bundled up and nervous--lingered even as his friends left, watching the group as they parted. He watched the group, and it was only when one of the boys called back for him that he finally sprung into motion, jogging after his friends without a word.

[ OoC: And I'm calling this done here. ]
