Tina's eyes lit up. She'd been wandering around, looking for interesting things, when she'd seen the sea. She smiled and dashed towards it. Since she was so small, she could run super fast. When Tina got to the edge, she rolled up the cuffs of her jean capris and waded out as far as she could go. The icy water felt like a mere breeze, and minnows tickled her ankles. With her finger, she lifted up a bubble of water. Inside was a silvery minnow, confused. He swam into the walls of the bubble, trying to get away. Tina laughed, and put the fish back in the water, along with the rest of the bubble.

Now was a good time to see how far out she could make water go. With her hands, she pointed far, far, far out, and two streams of water shot out of the water, twined around each other perfectly, and shot straight up. They were so tiny in the distance, it looked smaller than the stream that comes out of a drinking fountain. Tina was so amazed she'd done that, she lost concentration immediately, and the streams twirled back into the sea.

Suddenly, behind her, the sound of slow clapping.
"Beautiful, beautiful show, my dear, truly beautiful! If only my powers could be used in such works of art."
Judas Anderson strolled towards her, stepping against the water and the refreshing feeling it gave.
"Truly a beautiful place. You're a fellow student, I imagine?"

Tina turned around and smiled shyly. "Thanks! And yes, I am a student, but only in my first year." Tina hadn't met anyone yet, but she hoped they were all as nice as the guy talking to her. "Everyone's powers can do something amazing! What do you mean yours can't? What are your powers?"

Judas smiled sadly.
"Well, I have certain powers, but they only serve in destruction, in draining my soul. They are quite amusing though, I must say."
He flicked his hand, sending a burst of flame flying in the air.
"Pyrokinesis."
And then he flicked his other hand, a clump of sand lifting up from the beach and flowing and swirling above the ground.
"And telekinesis, the double kinesises. Truly an amusing curse they are."
