He said bluntly and sighed. He shouldn't be upset at her trying to do what he always did. He sighed softly, allowing his temper to settle, it normally didn't appear around her anyway.

You're not being silly, it was stupid of me and you have every right to be pissed.
He said with a small sigh.

She arched a thin brow at his mild outburst, before dropping her eyes once more to her shoes, like a scolded child might. She was silent a moment, biting her lower lip in her own nervous frustration. However, she retianed an image of cool composure despite the habit.

"I'm glad you told me," her voice was uncharacteristicly softened, whether to hide emotion behind it or simply because it was a library was unknown. "But, I would like to know what we're doing now."

She shifted her weight slightly, purposely looking him in the eye this time.

"You said it was a mistake, not to mention you had no idea I'd be sent here too," she reasoned, though it might have been for her benefit as much as his.

Suddenly she flashed him a wicked grin, gesturing back down the entry hall.

"Besides, have you seen the guys here? I'm no cradle robber."

She staged a comical pose of heroic definence.

I wish there hadn't been anything to tell you but-
He didn't finish the sentence as he shook his head. The rest of the sentence was known and he didn’t want to remind her of it all.

He sighed as he looked at her again. It almost looked like if she had done something wrong instead of him. Her words caught him off guard and he was forced to move his head to a side in confusion.
What do you mean?

He nodded at her words, not sure if she was trying to comfort him or herself and the thought was slightly infuriating. He then grinned at her comment and shrugged.

I was told they were quite charming. You know how those kids look adorable when they are still growing. You just want to pinch their cheeks.
He said with a smirk
