His appearance alone marked him as being different than those around him. He had dark grey skin, white hair and bright silver eyes. He wasn't dressed to impress, nor was he dressed too casual, just a black dress shirt, a pair of snuggly black jeans and boots. Many of the passerbys were giving him odd looks, as if just because he looked so much different from them they were allowed to stare.
It was a good thing he didn't feel irritated about it, yet. The man/drow/whatever was waiting for his wife to come and show him around where she was taking her vacation. She had told him she would be there for six and she was late. Only by ten minutes, but she was still late. He passed his hand through his white hair, placing a few strands back into place as the wind had displaced them.
He was sitting at a small café, an untouched cup of coffee on the table in front of him. He was waiting for it to cool down a little. He might be used to fighting with injuries and pain, but he didn't like provoking it without due cause. He was slowly tapping his long fingers in a random tune on the table as he waited. He gathered many stares, although wird people weren't that uncommon with the school so close, but he was a monochrome person, right down to his hair and eyes.
It was actually quite funny for the fact that in his hometown, humans were considered an oddity. His wife, Rayana had been readily accepted because they considered her rather fetching and beautiful. The fact that she was a vampire, a queen and a warrior helped win their hearts over in his country. Some said he couldn't have found a better bride. In fact, she had won many hearts with her warrior prowess rather than with her sharp teethed smiles.
But right now he was waiting for that oh so not perfect woman that he was married to. He might as well enjoy himself while he waited. He took a sip of the hot beverage in his cup and looked around. This town had everything every other small town he had seen had. It was rather cute actually. He was sure that he could find great spots to visit if he were to look and ask around.
