He quietly watched her exit the lake and adorn her clothing. As cold as she looked, he resisted the urge to stand up and help warm her. Knowing her, she'd probably just take it as an insult.
"All I suggested was that you find a more fitting wardrobe, preferably one that would mask you from your father's memories." He raised an eyebrow. "Did you expect me to pay and dress you?" His tone couldn't hide the humor in his voice that his face so easily disreguarded.
