It had been a few days now since the incident with Alvin. Theo spent most of his time confined within the walls of the Defan estate. There was absolutely no way he was going out in public like this. Random pain surges and leaking black liquid from his eyeballs aside, he was freaking blind. The last thing he needed was the whole student body assuming that he was weak and powerless. He still had yet to even tell all his friends what was really going on. Alain had stopped by earlier only to be turned away by Kylar. He'd simply told Alice he was sick and wasn't up for visits. Officially, his absence was attributed to sickness. Blindness and pride aside, he was looking for a way to get back what was his. And rumors were probably going to fly out from there. It was only a matter of time before other people close to him learned what was really going on.
He knew Alice would be the hardest to keep away, so he wouldn't even bother trying to send her off. At least, not immediately. He sat in his game room listening to Simon go through options that could potentially fix their problem. Unfortunately these options were a bit too high risk. He sighed when he heard a butler knock on the door. Seemed Alice had stopped by after all. "Show her in and tell her I'm in the game room," he sighed, as he lay on a bean bag chair. He rubbed at his eyes which were now completely black in color. Simon attempted to dab a wet cloth on his face to clean up some of the liquid that seemed to leak from them. "I thought I told you not to come," he sighed.
