Mister
Name: Node Luna
Age: Over 50 years old
Birthday: No record.
Gender: Female
Species: "Neo-Organism for Digital Exploration" - Alien Doll
Category: Citizen
Career: Symlink's Backup Unit, Neon's Assistant.

Appearance Description:

  • Apparent Age: Mentally and Physically 22 at least
  • Eyes: Jungle Green
  • Skin: Pale
  • Clothing Style: What is seen in the image above. Other than that she likes J-Pop-styled clothes.
  • Hair: Pale Blond
  • Height: 61 cm (2'0")
  • Weight: 13.61 kg (30 lbs)

Personality Description:
Node's original personality, which is to say none, has forever been replaced with one seeded by Neon. This personality new personality, however, can be defined as smart-talking, mischievous, somewhat carefree (except when Neon and Symlink are involved because...), and yet loyal to a fault towards the people who gave her a new purpose.

Faults? Of course she got them: Node's got a short fuse (not in relation to her stature, mind you), has some sadistic tendencies, and greatly fears losing her sense of individuality (even if the possibility is slim). A way to get on her better side fast is to praise her.

Active Abilities:
  • Remote Connector - Through a specially encrypted wireless connection, Node is capable of interacting with any wireless antenna or digital input/output port within a few feet from her, no more than one meter (about 3 feet and a half at most). That doesn't mask her presence, but something else does.

  • Remote Debugging - Being a super processor in the form of an organic-like being, Node is capable of running codes within herself to further streamline the end result of what she seeks to accomplish. Most codes that would take days to be manually debugged on a computer can take but a few hours within her. This also allows her to change data within Data Cubes.

  • Data Cube Materialization - Node's specialty, allows her to materialize glass-like cubes capable of containing 2.1 Petabytes (2100 TeraBytes) of digital information she had stored in herself. The cubes themselves are small (about 6 inches or 15 cm), very light and nowhere as fragile as glass, being capable of falling tens to a hundred meter without even cracking, and bouncing slightly on impact.

  • Borrowed Abilities - As a result of the data Neon seeded in her to give her personality, Node has gained the ability to borrow Neon and Symlink's active abilities, provided they are within 3 meters (almost 10 feet) from her, and even then she can't use more than one borrowed ability at a time nor to the exact same extent (for example, transformation abilities would be restricted to a tenth of what Neon can do, which would be 1 meter.)

  • Flight - A modification done to her shortly after purchase, a pair of thin wings installed upon her back that also acts as screen to project some visual effects. As they are only strong to support just a little above her own weight, don't expect seeing her carrying something more than a few data cubes or a glass of water while flying.

Passive Abilities:
  • Unnatural Digestive System - Even though she is a robot-like being that imitates an organic being, Node has no issue in processing food or drink "organically", being used to fuel her and prevent a shut down from lack of energy. However she's in no way immune to poison or toxic substances. She is however immune to the effects of alcoholic beverages, and has to emulate the sensation to "feel normal".

  • Breathless - Node has no need for breathing, and due to her Unnatural Digestive System she can even consume water to stay active underwater for an undefined amount of time. This in turn means oxygen is useless for her, as it fails to provide more energy than she burns out.

  • Tamper-Proof - There's no way to tamper with her data unless she allows them to. Node didn't have a choice while she had gone inactive for so long, so it was possible for her to be altered this one time, but other than that she is a tough nut to crack. This also makes her immune to malware and viruses of any nature.

  • Signature-Masking - Once she has infiltrated a system, it's impossible to trace it back to her. Whether she wants or not, any attempt to reveal her intrusion results in nothing.

  • Enhanced Durability - Due to nano-structures within her body, Node is capable of bearing more than her body should, without being physically any stronger than she looks. Her body can be stretched, crushed to the size of a baseball, limbs twisted or bent unnaturally, and yet it will just snap back to its natural form as soon as possible. This in no way implies she can regenerate a lost part, which will have to be soldered in place.

  • Emulated Sensation - Any sensation within her is merely an emulation of a real one, and she can even turn them off at will. So if she were to be tortured, her torturers would have a real tough time trying to get her to feel pain or fear.

Weaknesses:
  • EMP - An Electromagnetic Pulse strong enough can cause her speech impediment or scramble her thoughts and processes, making her movement jittery as well. Prolonged exposure will cause her to "Safe-Shutdown", which just has her run on lowest power (AKA Sleep) until the effects passes.

  • Inactivity - To an extreme, at least. If she stays offline for over a year, she will go inactive and become vulnerable to tampering. Ever since Neon seeded personality in her she silently started to fear losing her sense of self.

  • CPU - A half-inch CPU is located inside her brain, and is what maintains her alive as well as what hosts her thoughts and personality. If that is damaged in any way, she will start acting erratically or forget what she was thinking of, and if it sustains enough damage she will effectively die.

Biography:

Node was first made upon request in the black market by a hacker group to steal governmental data without leaving a trace, acting as their medium, but back in those days she had no personality nor a distinct appearance except of a big-headed humanoid robot that looked far from human.

After a number of heists, the hackers disposed of her, purging all her data thrice and reselling to a pawn shop as a doll, to rid of what could be used as evidence against them if they were caught.

For over 40 Years, she would remain in shelves, inactive, until Neon bargained to get her for cheap, took her home and reactivated her, as well as giving her a new appearance and clothes, as well as data-seeding within her a personality so she could be more lively.

Resources: None for herself except her clothes. Everything is borrowed from Neon and Symlink.

Additional Information:
  • "Neo-Organism for Digital Exploration" is not what her species was originally called, it's something Neon came up with after turning her on for the first time and hearing her say "Digital Manipulator Unit: Online"
