He doesn't know where his family by blood are but then again that is no concern to him the only family he counts are the wild dogs he grew up with. At the time he knew he was different, how different he had yet to discover, but different enough that none of the females could have birthed him, they where however still his family.
At the time he wouldn't think of their life as fun, it was an every day struggle of survival, would there be enough leftover in the alley behind the next restaurant. Then you had to be aware of the furless, two legged creatures who sometimes had dead animals on them and often came with a loud and big metal monster, because whoever was caught by them was never seen again. Looking back at these days and they where still not fun however the bliss of ignorance of that time will never return.
It wasn't until he was hit with, god knows how many, tranquilizer darts, that he finally was caught.. He woke up much later, in a cage, just not in the literal sense. There was four walls, a roof and floor, a full blown room reinforced with force resistent materials. Maybe it was stress or perhaps it was that he was of age but he woke up as one of them, the two legged creatures. In later years, when he understood what he was, he would start to think that it was the change in environment that had caused him to wake up as his other self.
This place was cramped compared to what he was used to but it seemed a too big of a cage then what the men of the pound had in their metal monsters. Eventually a man would come in and Noah would try to charge through the opening but he was not used to this form, this human form. He fell and lost his way out, well the easy way out. There was another way out, it shouldn't be hard to take down one human and get the key, right?
Wrong, the human didn't seem to hold any strength or speed surpassing that of a human but Noah just couldn't land a hit, he did however get better and better at controlling this form. Whenever Noah missed a hit the man would introduce him as Wolfe and ask for a name in return. He sat down out of pure exhaustion and retreated into a corner, then said that is name was Wolfe and asked the man, the real Wolfe what his name was.This went on for way to long and before he knew it he spoke human, what, how had the man been able to do this while avoiding being hit by Noah and how did he even manage that?
It was when Noah asked Wolfe, why, that they actually started to bond, well they still had a long way to go. The answer, Wolfe had said that he loathed those who would steal from him, even if it was thrown away leftover scrap from his restaurant, but even then everyone deserved a chance to a proper life.
Wolfe told Noah, who was yet unnamed at this time that he needed a name he could call the boy and picked Noah by random. If Noah didn't like it he needed to provide some form of name. But dogs does not speak like human, life there was different so he took the name. From that day on he could properly home school Noah and slowly build up a bond and trust.
When Wolfe trusted Noah enough he gave in and begun teaching him self defense, the form that had allowed him to avoid being hit by Noah.It was something Wolfe had created, because he at the time needed self defense and couldn't afford martial arts classes. For someone like Noah, who is pretty strong and fast, only three lessons would be needed.. Wolfe drew a circle on the ground, then another and another, until there was five within each other, like a giant target on the ground.
First lesson, avoid being hit, Wolfe stood in the middle and Noah in the last circle. Wofe's job was to hit and force Noah out of the circle, Noahs job was to avoid being hit and stay in the circle. Whenever Noah failed he had to do ten push ups or ten squats and so on. Once he could avoid being hit he could advance to the next circle. For every new circle he could advance to another five would be added to his training whenever he failed.
Lesson two, how to hit someone, utilized the same circles however Noah should begin where he had left the previous lesson, the circle next to Wolfe's circle and advance out, until he could no longer reach Wolfe. Wolfe who had mastered his own techniques had to teach while giving handicaps to Noah, otherwise they would never advance.
Lesson three, combining lesson one and two, in other words, sparing. This time there where only two circles, the first and last and as usual Wolfe was in the first and Noah could move freely, within the other circle. This would teach counteracting and enforce the two first lessons.
When Wolfe had nothing left to teach and no lessons left that he was willing to train it was time, time to take Noah into Manta Carlos and enroll Noah into the only school equipped to handle people like Noah while giving them a future.
