When the drinks come, her's was in a shot glass. She looked at the bartender with a 'really?' expression.
The bartender shrugged, "You might be the boss-lady, but I am responsible for the bar. You both had quite a bit to drink, this being your Lamia friend's last. And you know just how potent it can be."
Eliana chuckles as she picked up the glass and sipped on the contents. All she had was a small juice glass full and was wiped out for almost a day. She suspected Rogie had his way with her while she was smashed, and she did not want Zadya in his clutches.
Eliana smiled and nodded to the bartender (much to his relief), "Good call."
Eliana put her arm around Zadya's shoulders and smiled, "It is not so much luck, but being at the right place at the right time - ok - a little luck. I tend to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. But - still, fate has handed me some good things."
She was thinking of the time she met Avax Set. Who would think that being 'killed' would have been a good thing. But, his was illusional, while the village folk would have been real. She smiled at the realization that if he had not 'killed' her, she would not be here with Zadya.
She chuckled, "Ya, fate can be bizarre at times. Had I not been killed, we would he never met."
Zadya was a friendly kid, but everyone under the age of 1900-years was a kid to her. She wanted to make sure she got home safe and sound - well, as sound as one could be in a night like tonight. With the cold outside and Zadya being cold-blooded, Eliana was worried she might get frostbite, especially if they had to go a long way.
Fortunately, Zadya seemed to be one of those that ger mellower the drunker they got, which would make the trip a bit easier. The thought of them staggering to the dorms singing to the tops of their lungs and off-key caused her to smile.
She finished off her's and waiting for Zadya to finish her's, "Ok, time to get you home. You do know your dorm address? If not, then we can go to mine."
The bartender piped up, "If you want, I can call a cab?"
