Elio Silver-Alessandrio was, the least to say, nervous. Only last month had he received a strange looking letter that said he was invited to Starlight Academy, a "different" school located on the beautiful island of Manta Carlos. Of course, he was reluctant to leave his friends in Italy, but he went anyways. It took him a plane ride, a boat ride and a bus ride to finally arrive at the academy.
Looking at the huge doors, Elio suddenly felt tiny, but again, he was 12 years old and small for his age. Looking at the doors, he bit his lip and cracked his knuckles. All his life, Elio never talked to anyone outside of his family. He was always incredibly shy, always hiding in the corner, blushing, stammering. He hated crowds, all that people, all that noise... He'd rather be back in his attic, talking to his dog.
Biting his lip again, Elio straightened up and opened the doors, his blood-red eyes staring. Some people were in the hallway, and they seemed mainly uninterested. He was considering asking for help but all of a sudden he spotted the door to the administration office
He walked in... And saw no-one was there. "Where is everyone?" He muttered, looking at the empty office.
