Just as he was about to freak out about her disolving at her touch, it scared him more when she tapped his shoulder not a moment later.

"I'll keep that in mind," he replied, deciding to just walk behind her in case walking beside was too uncomfortable with the girl.

Jen kept her head down, watching the she didn't step on anything pointy or splintery. A thought ran through her mind, and made her shudder. What if I asked him?... Maybe he would think I was crazy and not saying anything, or maybe he would say yes, and go. she shook her head. But maybe he would just walk off. Agh. She took a deep breath and turned around. "Soryuju-kun...((Did I get that right?!)) will you.... will you go to the... to the Fall Festival.... With me, I mean?..." her eyes went wide. She had done it without thinking. She turned around and started to walk again, her mouth clamped closed...
