My Poems

Ok, I wrote a few poems... If you like em, say so, but dont go trashing them or anything.... Constuctive critisism only please

I walk down the beach at night
cool water pouring over my ankles
a beautiful sunset over the horizon
followed by a bright moon and stars
the sweet salty smell in the air

my footsteps leave a trail
a trail of footprints in the sand

the waves crash againgst the shore
the seagulls call to each other
the wind whistles by
a musical like no other

This year
different from the rest
i loved
i loathed
and both with a passion
friends were lost
friends were earned
tears were shed

lessons were learned
some harder than others
didnt know if I'd make it through
but with lots of help I did
my family, friends, my Father in heaven

People change
I do too
for the better or for the worse
some leave, some stay
some stay loyal, some no longer care

but after this hard time
there is one important fact
no matter what I've written
it is true
a fact that will last
I am not bitter
whatever they've done;
and only I know;
I forgive and I forgive again
but I cannot yet forget

I've cried many tears
I'm done
I'm moving on
I'm ready to face my fears
