It was night, and at such a time, most of the general population was asleep and tucked into bed. The stars glowed faintly while the moon was definitely absent from the darkened skies.A lone figure was standing on the roof, a place where she was sure that none of the usual idiots would bother her. This person was not too tall, towering at a mere five feet four inches off the ground, but her other attributes made up for it, like her long wavy black hair or her deep black eyes. Her skin was as pale as the moonlight although it was not present at the moment. She wore a pair of bermuda pants, black to be precise and a tight fitting blue sleeveless shirt. She was standing on an incline a few feet from the abysss and the ground below.

Nykolas walked down the hall, head bowed, silvery white hair falling over his eyes as he stared at the hallways floor. His hair had once been as black as night, but it looked as if all color was drained from it, leaving silver and white in its place. He wore his usual clothes, with black converses. His knuckles were bruised and fingers throbbed from making some little things like pencils explode. His eyes had a similar bruised look around them.

He spotted a pencil that someone must have dropped and he stopped, staring at it, before kicking the pencil across the floor before it let out a loud popping sound as it suddenly exploded into sparks, flames and debris, but the flames were brief and quickly went out before reaching the ground again. A smirk slipped its way onto Nyk's face.

He found some stairs on his way down the hall, and before thinking strode up them. Anything to keep himself awake longer at night before the treacherous sun decided to show up.

Opening the door he walked out onto the roof. A place he's been too about a year ago. To think its only been a year since he was last at this academy. He noticed someone else on the roof, a woman with long black hair.

"Hello?" He called to her, letting himself smile a little.

The sound of something exploding several meters below brought her attention back to reality, it either was a very small explosion or very far away, but if it had been that far, she would have at least seen the explosion, which told her it probably was very small. Why anyone would want an explosion that small she couldn't understand, what would be the point of such little destruction. It would ba a waste of whatever explosive substance had been used.

Tracking the footsteps as they came closer was ridicuously easy and she knew he came a while before he opened the door. She did not turn or acknowledged him bacause she was occupied looking at the stars. Having very good night vision was just a very nice perk she was glad to use to look at the stars. The vampire was pretty sure that she could see some stars that normal humans couldn't.

The greeting rang through the air and she turned a face as pale as a ghost towards the person. In a strange way, the white skin suited her, with her dark eyes boring figurative holes in whatever they looked at, or that was how Celestin had said they felt like. Her poor husband just didn't like it when she was staring at him like that, but whatever. She took in the appearance of the teenager, he didn't look as if he had slept in a while.

-Hello.- She replied in a voice as smooth as silk.
