My character Prae is in need of a new master.

Quick notes:
Prae is on the young side of 16, no mature threads.
Anyone will do so long as they can support her cleaning needs. Suggesting someone who owns a home of some sort.
The "Mastership" is more akin to adoption in legal terms but Prae acts like a household servant.
All interested parties please post here and I will make a list and we shall decide on who will potentially be best master!

I do have Colten, demon and master of Grovefire Manor on the island. He (and his family) has a long history of supporting demonkind in need of a home and would be happy to take her in. He's respectable both on the island and off and would be a benevolent "master"

Well Colten is pretty well connected in the demon community on MC so its possible he heard about her need for a master and decided to meet her with the intention if hiring her (or adopting her, though that process would take some time). Its entirely possible a counselor from the academy might have contacted Colten about her

it would probably have to be from a counselor from the school otherwise Prae wouldn't be a functioning individual. Unless Colten finds her wandering around the island as she is looking for a new master.

Referral via counselor makes the most sense to me. Probably in response to her not being able to function well without a "master". We could start with Colten meeting her and the counselor or skip ahead a tiny bit to him introducing her to the Manor after deciding to take on the responsibility of being her master.

That sounds fine to me. I'm thinking it should start with Colten's point of view. Possibly being led by the counselor to a Prae who hasn't eaten in two days because she refused to eat until her master tells her to?

We can do that, sure. Though in a life-threatening situation they probably would have had counselors or other staff agree to be temporary "masters" until they could place her properly. Maybe the counseling staff decided it's not in her best interest to keep alternating between people and instead have one person take responsibility and they can support her/them.

Either way I can start a thread tonight after I get off work with Colten coming to see Prae with a counselor escorting him
