When Maria makes an appearance, she generally appears as woman in her 20s made entirely of flame. She's about five feet tall in this form, although her hair can sometimes blaze up another foot. She moves like fire and doesn't always keep her arms or legs. The flames cover her like a shifting dress, but she can easily appear entirely nude, though she prefers to be highly suggestive instead. She usually likes to be curvy and voluptuous, but her form is not static. Her movements are quite clearly inhuman, if the flames didn't tip you off. She is usually dancing or flitting about, never seeming to keep still for a moment.
When she takes a more solid form, she retains her orange colouring, but has a whole body. Though she is still wrapped in flames, the die down to little candle flickers on her skin.
When she is mimicking another woman, she becomes their exact copy, but ghost-like and nearly transparent.
Personality Description:
Maria enjoys being a temptress and has quite a sadistic streak. She doesn't so much enjoy physical pain so much as watching people suffer emotionally, especially when they want what they can't have or do things they hate.
Being a succubus, she feeds off lust, but she prefers not to satisfy it in others. She does not love William, but she is generally loyal to him. He is her preferred victim. She is content to stay on Earth and torture him until she gets bored. When she interacts with others, it's generally with a view to harm him, tempt him, or otherwise manipulate him. Although if she can hurt or tease someone else while doing that, she is quite pleased.
The demon genuinely enjoys life. She tends to be exuberant and excitable, with sometimes very childlike mannerisms. In spite of her penchant for maliciousness, she is not generally calculating, much preferring to live by her whims.
Active Abilities:
Being of Fire - Her body is made out of flames that do not burn and are only about as hot as warm steam. If she is not corporeal, she can increase their heat to around 2500F. She can let them burn like a candle flame for as long as she can normally stay out, but anything hotter tires her out more quickly. Her max heat she could only do for at most five minutes before having to go back into William's body to recharge. If she overexerts herself she won't be able to come out again for a few days, and she'll need William to feed.
Possession/Corporeal Form - Maria usually stays in William's body and can feel everything he feels. She can also communicate with him telepathically. She can manipulate Will's emotions, but not control his body. He can't control her either, she can come out whenever she pleases, within her limits. If she is in her incorporeal form, she can stay out of his body for two hours at a time, with 30 minutes rest in between. She must stay within 10 feet of him. She can do this three times before he will need to feed. She can become corporeal while she's out, but this lowers her time to 30 minutes, even if she only does it for a few minutes. She also cannot use any other power that requires concentration. She will have to rest two hours in between and can only do this twice before William feeds.
Female Mimic - Also while incorporeal, she can mimic other (humanoid) women and become their exact copy, but ghost-like and nearly transparent. This has the same caveats/limitations as going corporeal. She must have seen the woman at some point, either in a picture, or in person.
Passive Abilities:
Being of Lust - Within 25', can taste the lust of others and being around people who are feeling it gives her a caffeine-like burst of energy, even when she is not manifested.
Made of flames - Uninjured by flames or heat.
Demon - Ageless and immortal. She doesn't eat or sleep. She cannot be harmed by weapons or magic, unless they are holy or enchanted against demons. If she was weakened or injured, she'd simply return to William's body to recuperate. If her bond with William is somehow broken, she will return to Hell until she can find someone else to possess.
Weaknesses:
She can be banished/summoned/bound by anyone who knows her true name.
She is particularly vulnerable to holy water. If someone splashed her with it, she would be injured and weakened, and she would need to return to William's body. If someone completely doused her with it she would return to Hell.

A minor succubus within one of the many hells, Midi spent a few centuries there until she got bored with mingling with the other demons. She spent her time on Earth instead, but could never stay long before she would feel the need to return home.
Frustrated with this, she made a deal with a higher up in exchange for certain favours that she could stay on Earth as long as she was in possession of a body. Preferably a body that would send more souls down to Hell.
She wandered a while more before being attracted to William's vulnerability and magic. She tempted and tricked him into his bargain with her. Then she took possession, killing and corrupting him as she did. She kept the name of his dead wife, Maria, and hasn't seen fit to change it, even after he discovered her ruse.
Having her very own person to torture was quite an exciting change. And the doctor still seems to be an endless well of pain. She has almost fallen in love with William in a predatory, sadistic way and plans to stick with him for the forseeable future.
