As part of the sparring club tournament arc, Madeline faced off against Eriko round 1.
Madeline made a show out of it, using flashy illusions and tricks to wear Eriko out. Eventually she just nullified Eriko's super-strength and went in for the win.
After that, Madeline gets pounced by her boyfriend congratulating her on her victory. She is in high spirits until she checks the bracket and learns her next opponent will be Dalia.
