LuLu's human form is usually tall (somewhere around 6'5") and slender. They're surprisingly light for their size, roughly 40 lbs. Their pasty white skin is soft and slightly sticky, like half-dried paper glue. Their lipless mouth usually appears overly wide on their face. LuLu does not have much expression, but they will tilt the corners of their mouth up when they're happy and down when they're sad, like a literal happy/sad face. Their sharp-looking "teeth" are actually a flat, paper-like membrane protecting their mouth opening. Their mouth can open enough to cover their whole face and they are hollow inside. They have a pure white, prehensile, slimy, worm-like tongue that can extend out to about two feet. Their eyes and mouth are not always static on their face, though they try to keep them in the proper position for the most part. They have a bad habit of just shifting their eyes around to look at people, instead of turning their head. Their eyes are usually a bright colour, such as green, yellow, or blue. The colour gradually shifts randomly throughout the day, strobing faster when they're excited or agitated. Their hair is actually part of their body and is a solid, jello-like mass. This "hair" changes colour at a slower rate than their eyes, roughly once a day, and is always the same colour as one of their tentacles. Because this is not LuLu's main form, their facial features tend to vary slightly from day to day.
Lulu usually dresses in clothes that are bold and bright. They like all sorts of different styles of clothing, often combining styles and colours in a garish fashion. For example, a neon pink trench coat and camouflage khakis. They like gloves and scarves but rarely wear jewellery. And their socks never match. They amuse themself by matching their current hair colour with at least one item of clothing, usually their top.
Occasionally, Lulu will sprout extra appendages, even in human form - whether arms, legs, or rainbow tentacles. They can sprout no more than seven total appendages, including arms & legs already present. These appendages can sprout from anywhere on their body. Sprouting extra appendages causes them to grow proportionally shorter and/or thinner.
They can theoretically transform to any form about the same size as their human form or smaller depending on the length of their tentacles/appendages in that form. They cannot transform into anything smaller than their normal form. No matter what their form, they will always have the same colours/texture, two eyes, one mouth, and no more than seven appendages.

They have seven different coloured inch-wide tentacles that are about nine feet long and covered on one side with very small suckers. Unless they're underwater, they usually splay them along whatever surface they're on, but they can keep them close to their body. They can also rear up on them to a height of about five feet, but they can't move very well like that. They generally don't wear clothes in this form but might wear a spiffy hat. This is their natural form and the form they revert to when stressed or when sleeping or otherwise incapacitated.
Personality Description:
LuLu's mind is a collective mind that has somewhat retained the personality of everyone the love eldritch whole has ever assimilated, but as a cohesive whole, not as separate personalities. As a recent splinter, their overarching personality has been predominantly shaped by their experiences on Earth. They think of themself as we and are aware that they are part of a whole.
As a whole being, the overarching goal of the love eldritch is to eventually have every sentient being in the universe be telepathically bonded in a sort of giant hive mind. This is the whole purpose of their existence. It is what drives every splinter. They aren't completely against individuality. In fact, love eldritch embrace different personalities and ways of thought, as long as individual opinion does not conflict with their broader goal.
LuLu loves everyone, but not necessarily in a romantic way. They wish to absorb everyone into themself and be absorbed in return. They have a consuming, devouring love, but they are also patient. LuLu also wants everyone to get along among each other as well as with themself. "Why can't everyone get along?". Although everything is done with a view to their goal of assimilation, they are also genuinely kind. They enjoy making people happy and will do nice things for people without it being directly connected to bonding with them. They approve of things like marriage to an extent but dislike the idea of monogamy when it cuts out other people.
Sexuality is odd for LuLu. They are generally unconcerned with physical appearance, although they may find someone aesthetically pleasing, and are purely attracted to people's minds. They also gain no physical pleasure from the act of sex. However, they may choose to give others physical pleasure as an act of bonding. Romantically, they literally want to be with everyone, but they may fall more for some people than others, in a completely non-exclusive way.
Being a sort of gestalt, Lulu's mind is chaotic and multi-faceted. They are very uncomfortable with dissent and arguments. They generally believe in compromise but can also hold many conflicting opinions with equal strength.
LuLu does not have a fear of death, but they abhor the death of other sentient beings as it removes a unique mind from existence. They prefer to bond with people who are willing and to convince people logically and emotionally that this is the right choice. They'd pretty much only forcefully bond someone who was about to die, just to preserve that mind.
Things like rainbows and salads, where something whole is made up of separate, yet distinct parts, are very pleasing to LuLu.

Once in another form, that form can be mostly held together for about 24 hours without noticeably tiring them, but they will shift back to eldritch form under stress or when sleeping/otherwise incapacitated. Their eyes and mouth will tend to move around their body if they don't focus on holding them still. They will occasionally sprout extra appendages in any form. As long as they are able to consume organic material, (using their mouth), they can regenerate as fast as they can eat, with even tentacles only taking about 10 minutes to regrow. Their tentacles can be regenerated as long as they have at least one, but they would not be able to replace them if all seven were removed and would be effectively unable to move around or transform as well. Their eyes do not regenerate. They are not hurt by blunt force, pressure, or falls, but are vulnerable to piercing and slashing. They have a weakness to fire and freezing. Acids would still corrode and hurt them.
- Eldritch Physiology -
They don't require food/water to survive, but they do require sleep.
LuLu has no bones. They are very squishy and can squeeze through incredibly small spaces. Given the time, they could fit themselves through a hole the size of a quarter. They are also really flexible. Their tentacles are elastic and not easily torn. LuLu does not have a lot of strength, but if they tried they could coil their tentacles tightly enough to break an average adult's ribs.
They can feel pain, but wouldn't feel it from things like having their tentacles stepped on. Their tentacles have a strong enough suction to allow their eldritch form to crawl along any surface up to and including glass, even allowing them to crawl along ceilings, as long as they aren't carrying anything.
A splinter must be at least 50 years old to form another splinter.
All love eldritch are parts of a whole and can communicate telepathically withing themselves. As long as one piece lives, dying is pretty much like sleep. Each of them has all the experiences/assimilated personalities/emotions of all, yet second-hand. They do not physically feel pain from other bodies as it happens but remember it. LuLu must sleep to receive the experience of their other parts. They are telepathically confusing and resistant to mind-based magic.

Voluntary bonding requires contact with at least two tentacles. They can bond with incorporeal beings if they have sentience and presence. For example, they could bond with a ghost, with their tentacles in the ghost's "body", but not a spirit that was just a voice in the air. This bonding may be done in other forms. It requires about an hour of focused attention.
Involuntary bonding requires continuous flesh-to-flesh contact with all seven tentacles and cannot be done on incorporeal creatures. LuLu must be in eldritch form. This takes at least two hours and complete focus, making them vulnerable. If contact with any tentacle is broken, the process must be started again. This is very draining and impossible to do with anyone that actively resists. The bonded's personality won't mesh as well and will take longer to fully assimilate. This can cause anywhere from days to months of a headache depending on the bonded's level of hostility towards bonding.
The bonding is always two-way. The bonded joins the collective mind but retains their own personality. People have different reactions to becoming part of a whole. Each receives all memories of the other. The bonded is still themself but upon death has a form of immortality within the collective mind. The original love eldritch was a being from another dimension. LuLu Is a melange of experience gained from assimilation going back millions of years, but all that experience is kind of blurred and fuzzy. The love eldritch have only been in this dimension about 1000 years. LuLu is a "third-generation" splinter of the first splinter in this dimension.
First splinter lived about 500 years and assimilated most of a distant planet before they split to travel to other planets. Second splinter travelled for roughly 470 years, occasionally splintering on likely looking planets. LuLu was a splinter created to be part of a crew of a wormhole-exploring spaceship. They explored with that spaceship for five years before a trip through one wormhole led the crew to the Manta Carlos space station.
LuLu had only bonded with five of the crew by the time the spaceship reached Earth, but the newly discovered planet had so many new and interesting people/species. They decided to remain on Manta Carlos and ended up pursuing a college degree. Once they were finished school, LuLu considered visiting the rest of the planet, but they realised their appearance would most likely break the veil of secrecy. Besides, there were so many more opportunities to reach a wider audience on the island. They may even be able to make inroads into places like Hell, for when they were old enough to splinter.
LuLu decided to stay at Starlight Academy as a Philosophy Professor specialising in ethics. They have been working there for about 10 years so far. Up to this point, they have only bonded with a couple dozen people and only voluntarily.
