Lost in a new place

Feet shuffled as a fragile looking girl was pulled by a giant dog. She carried a small brown sachel over her shoulder, which flopped as she ran. The girl herself wore a white sleeve-less top and blue jeans, silver hair braided down her back. The dog had the build of a husky and german sheperd with the black brown and white colorings. Silent pulled slightly on the leash as he slowed, bringing them to a fast paced walk. Eyes saw nothing as she felt her dog lead her through the lawn. Crystilis had just arrived and now hoped Silent knew where he was going.

The half angel was somewhat glad no one could see the feathers just starting to grow over the stumps. Though soon she knew they would be fully grown and she did not wish to let the Academy see the curse. Shaking her head she thought more of this new school. Foot hitting a rock she tripped, chin striking another rock. Whimpering, she sat up and felt her chin, the warmth of blood soon touching her flesh. Tears fell down her cheek as the small scrap started healing, fixed with only a small scab to show. A cold nose touched her hand, Silent standing beside her.

Lekana wandered around the lawn, having nothing to do. Freeze the lake? Already frozen, and too far away to do anything to. Snow? Already falling. She sat down onto the snow, not caring about the cold, as her powers were already based on it, she poured water over the ground and froze it, pouring more and more water over it, freezing it into the perfect ice cube. She began to carve out the body of a dog.

Lekana wore a white t-shirt and baggy pants, the same type of outfit she had worn for years. Her blue-streaked white hair was tied up with a blue ribbon. Her ice-blue eyes were narrowed in concentration, and her slender hand was carving into the ice. Unless you noticed the blue ribbon and black pants, Lekana was just part of the landscape.

She looked up to see a girl and a dog. A perfect dog to sculpt into ice. "Can I use your dog as a model?" she called over to the girl, getting up and dusting the light snow off her pants.

((OOC: Does your have a roommate? If she doesn't, she could be my character's roommate if you want.))

Cryst lifted her head, hearing the sound of the ice before the girl's voice. Turning towards the girl a hand went to Silent. "A model? May I ask what for?" Voice was soft as she waited for an anwser. Silent whined and stood, brown eyes on the other with the ice that was starting to take the form of a dog.

Taking a few steps towards her, he left Cryst's reach. Nose twitched as her smells reached his muzzle. Cryst's face took a worried expression as he left her, but she could feel his nearness. Lips curved into a smile as his nose tickled her ear. blank eyes turned to the girl again. "Im sorry im curious." She told her

((OOC:She has not been to the Dorm's yet. If you would like to be roommates that would be great. That is if you dont mind a blind girl.))

((I don't mind at all.))

"A model? May I ask what for?" The girl's voice was soft. She turned towards Kana, one hand on the dog, which had its eyes on the ice. "An ice sculpture." Lekana replied, wondering why the girl asked. Couldn't she see? Kana's eye's flicked up to the girl's, and she realized with a sudden jolt. She's blind.

The dog took a few steps towards her, nose twitching. The girl's face assumed a mask of worry, and then she smiled when he touched her ear. "Im sorry I'm curious." She apologized, misted eyes turning back to Kana. "It's quite alright. It's not your fault. I'm Lekana, or Kana. If you don't mind me asking, how did you become blind?" The girl asked, curious. "You don't have to answer if you don't want to." She said.

Cryst face was towards the dog as Kana awnsered. "An ice sculpture? That sounds very interesting. if you wish to use Silent you may." She told the girl and put a hand on the dog's back, which he anwsered by sitting. Tongue showed itself as he looked at the ice sculputure, curious.

"Lekana? Im Crystilis, though most just call me Cryst. Many ask me about that. My mother told me I was born this way, but I think my father might have something to do with it." Cryst told her and sat on her knee's, one hand holding Silent's leash. Her sachel layed behind her, dark compared to the girl. "I hope you do not mind me asking, but does making ice sculptures have to do with why you are here?" She asked, voice hinted in curiousity.

Cryst was looking at the dog, or at least her face was tilted towards it. "An ice sculpture? That sounds very interesting. if you wish to use Silent you may." She said, granting Kana permission and put a hand on the dog, Silent's back, and he sat. His tounge lolled out as he stared at the ice sculpture. Lekana took this opportunity to begin carving the tounge out, molding the shape delicately into the ice.

"Lekana? I'm Crystilis, though most just call me Cryst. Many ask me about that. My mother told me I was born this way, but I think my father might have something to do with it." Cryst told her, kneeling down, gripping Silent's leash with a hand. "Just Kana or Lek. I don't mind those names, but being called Lekana makes me feel like an old woman." Cryst asked another question. "I hope you do not mind me asking, but does making ice sculptures have to do with why you are here?" Her voice showed traces of curiosity. "I'm affiliated with ice. I can control it and form it. My mother sent me to the Academy to learn how to control it after I froze the well in the summer."

Cryst smiled and listened to Kana. “I understand. You do not sound old, yet you think the name makes you sound old? I thought it was when they added Ms. Or Mrs. That people felt old.” It sounded more like she spoke to herself that to the other. Silent’s ears perked as she changed the ice’s shape.

“You can control ice? It sounds like a wonderful power. The frozen well was amusing to you? I hope no one was hurt in any way.” She told her and moved the brown satchel to her lap. Finding the clasp she opened it and her hands rummaged through it. Soon she pulled out a small book and opened it, her hands gently running over small bumps that were really brail.

Cryst smiled. “I understand. You do not sound old, yet you think the name makes you sound old? I thought it was when they added Ms. Or Mrs. that people felt old.” Lek smiled. A lot of peoplewere confused about that when she asked them to call her by her nicknames. Silent's ears were pointing straght up as he watched the ice shift. "I'm used to being called by either Lek or Kana, and I'm called Lekana mostly when I'm in trouble or adults are talking to me. It stinks." She ended, grinning at her complaints. She sounded so spoilt!

“You can control ice? It sounds like a wonderful power. The frozen well was amusing to you? I hope no one was hurt in any way.” Cryst said, placing the dark brown ~ or at least it looked dark brown compared to the snow ~ in her lap. She groped for the clasp and opened it once she found the bit of metal. Her hands delved into the bag. She found a small book without difficulty, and ran her hands over small bumps.

"Hey Cryst, what're you reading? It's braille, right?" She asked, looking up from the ice, rubbing little flakes off.

Cryst nodded. "Its worse when they say your full name. People dont usually call my by my full name though. I agree, it does stink." She told her and turned a page. Silent watched some people for a moment before turning back to the two.

"Yes, it is. It's easier than it was a few years back to read. This is actually a book about greek myths and gods. My aunt gave it to me. " The current page was about Athena born from Zeus' head. It was her favorite, and she read the stories many times.

((OOC:It feels so short, sorry :faint: ))
