I've decided that my spidery scout, Aranea Price, probably had a couple of friends who went to DCA. She was a pretty different person back in high school, doing a lot of dumb and sometimes even illegal stuff outside of class.
You have free reign with what kind of people her DCA friends might be, but being a troublemaker and being willing to give her energy drinks (which would get her very drunk) would have been big plusses. So i can imagine you could tack this on to a lot of DCA student ideas.
As for plots, I was thinking Aranea would make some kind of effort to help out her former friends. She still cares about all of them and would involve herself in their process of adapting to this future they find themselves in. You could have your character welcome and appreciate this, or get really weirded out, or try to take advantage of her kindness - I'm open to any of that.
Finally, one of the DCA students was Aranea's girlfriend at the time of the freeze. At this time, Mint has been working on her. Obviously they're breaking up because of the circumstances.
