My character Miraj was caught in the DCA freeze. Unfortunately he was in a serious relationship at the time, and his partner was off island during the unfreeze. So they still have no memories of him.
The partner would've been 23-30ish (or older) 12 years ago. Gender, species, whatever is up to the player, can even be a current character if they're old enough and you think they'd have been compatible. It's less likely that his partner would've been a woman though.
They don't have to get together or anything. I just want to mess with my character.
