Looking back, so they can move forward

While she listened to the water run in the bathroom Tesa was reading some textbooks and working on her Psycology work today, it was a very interesting subject since it seemed like she could pin a lot of this stuff on the gods. Especially her mother, but that wasn't here nor there at the moment and she honestly shouldn't be having her mind wander when she should be finishing her work. It was only a short time later that Aedan, the love of her life, came out of the bathroom. He had just finished his workout and she couldn't help but look him up and down her mind wandering to his muscled frame before blushing and getting back to work.

Only, it didn't seem that the Fates were going to let her finish tonight as Aedan walked over to where she sat and put his towel on the nearby chair before holding her hand. He proceeded to ask if he could drag her away from her work. Not really answering at that moment she put a few more marks down in her note book while wrapping her hand around his before closing the note book and textbook. "Sure? What can I help with?" She was a little confused, there wasn't much that needed doing around the apartment, this seemed a little to intimate to be asking her what they should have for food. So she began to feel her stomach tightening up a bit with slight anxiety.

Tesa couldn't breath as her mind flashed back to her mother and what had happened before she had left for her dads... She could feel her anger at her mother resurfacing. Tesa could feel herself gripping Aedan's hand harder as she tried to resume breathing. It took a few moments before her breathing resumed normal function. "I....This...." She didn't know how she was going to explain this, it was hard for her to remember this time in her life because of what her mother had done.

She let go of Aedan's hand as she stood up moving over to the center of the Living Room. There was a punching bag near by so that hopefully would help later into the conversation if she needed it. "So....I guess... I should start at the begining." Taking a deep breath she looked over to Aedan. "You know I'm the daughter of Aphrodite. For 32 years I lived up in Olympus. The last twelve of those My... Mother," Her tone indicated that she still bitter towards her mother even as she's been away for so long. "I...I loved the parties. It was something i resonated with. I still love, parties. But."

Tesa shuddered as some memories were coming back and in a certain blind rage she punched the near by punching bag her muscles coiled and released all at once and her fist punched through the padding, the sand and everything going elbow deep into it as she let all of her anger burn through her. "My MOTHER wanted me to do more... much more then just go to a simple party."

"I've...not tried to bottle it up Aedan. It's just," Tesa breathed in a few deep breaths before continuing. "I've tried to forget about it. Let myself live a life away from that... betrayal." There was a tear that fell from her cheek as she felt herself reliving those moments facing her mother. It was hard for her to breath again as she thought was physical pain in her chest.

"Aedan. I use to adore my mother, I thought she was graceful, selfless and beautiful. She was my entire world Aedan, I loved her like any other dutiful daughter to their mother." She took another breath trying to give herself a moment and she closed her eyes more tears fell down her cheeks.

"I...I wont say what she did Aedan. I...I can't. But... What she did. What she wanted me to do... It turned all of that around. I hate her, not like a Rebellious child Aedan. I hate her, there is no room in my heart anymore for her to be in my life. I just..." Tesa turned and pulled herself to Aedan and rested her head into his shoulder.
