James smiled a small smile to Fia, he could see she was about as awake as she could be at the moment. The sun rays entering the cave through the entryway, steaming though the cave and illumniating each corner and walls.

"Better." He replied in his raspy voice.

He was better, certainly, but he would not be able to get to his feet in a while. It was one of the consequences of nearly dying. The brown haired man was feeling relatively good, sure his wounds ached and his chest burned, but that was a detail.

Perhaps they would be able to make a thourough investigation of their housing arrangements and perhaps the pirate would find the hidden stash of wood, the one that was hidden in the room behind the medical supplies.

The seer had known they would be stuck there a while with the snow and all that. There was enough wood there to last a few months. The seer had had help in stashing all the supplies for the two or it would have never been ready in time.

Fia slowly moved to the stack of food stumbling a few times but catching herself before she hit the ground. She opened her eyes for a few seconds studying the pile of stuff, noticing the wood. She picked up a bottle of water and walked back towards the man. She tripped twice tiredly and then rested on the ground next to him. "You must be thirsty..." She said with a yawn, her eyes half open half shut. She looked at him, "What do you want to eat, there's enough food for a few months here. Though I doubt we'll be here a few months. She said still having not noticed the snow which blocked them in. She layed back down shutting her eyes for a second.

She suddenly popped up halfway and grabbed the two bottles, the pain medicine and the anti-infective medicine. She took the bottle of water sitting it next to him, she sleepily opened her eyes. "I need to redose you so the pain doesn't come back at full force." She said the tiredness in her voice, she was truly the 'non-morning' person. She couldn't stand waking up to the brightness and her body just longing for more sleep.

The girl thought about how much she had to do and how much she wanted to sleep. If she was alone she'd have slept till 11:00am or 12:00pm she loved her sleep, that's one thing anyone who slept in the same room as her would get to know.

James gave Fia a slightly worried gaze, was she always as clumsy when waking up? The snow was still there because they were in the mountains, had they been in another location, they would have never been stuck in some secluded cave. The snow would have already been melted as it was in most other places in the Manta Carlos islands. He was now coherent enough to see the tiredness lacing the other's every move.

He let himself snuggle deeper in the blanket covering his form. The pain didn't bother him at the moment, but if it suddenly came back it probably wouldn't be good for either of them. Well, it would probably be a shock to his body since he had been dosed with that pain reliever a while earlier. That pain reliever had done a good job; he couldn't feel a thing. It might not be a good thing if he tried to move or something.

"I am, a bit…" He answered.

He didn't really care that he would be dosed with that medicine, he was feeling tired and eating wasn't high on his priority list for now. He wasn't feeling hungry much. Closing his eyes, he let his body relax; the man wasn't feeling up to doing much of anything. If he tried to gulp down the water by himself he would probably end up spilling half of it on himself which would not be good since he'd get wet and thus colder. It would create a whole lot more trouble than there was at the moment.

It wasn't that he usually was dependant on other people, far from it; he just didn't have the energy yet to do it himself. Given a few days, he would be back to a semblance of normal. Of course, his leg would need more than just a few days to heal; he was nowhere near getting a perfectly healed leg in a few days.

"I'm sorry for being such a bother." He whispered sincerely.

"I am, a bit…"

She opened the bottle looking at the man that lay before her. She lifted his head slightly off of the ground and placed the bottle to his lips. She waited for him to drink, she watched him. Much like that of a nurse watching over a patient but with a much more tired girl look to her. Her hair was messed up, white locks falling all over. She was not the morning person at all.

"I'm sorry for being such a bother."

"No problem." She said prepping the medicine, she slowly re-dosed him making sure he got enough to ease the pain and the infection. The girl looked so groggy and tired, she sometimes would sleep even later. It depended on the day and such, she truly could care less about other things such as looking pretty and such. She just wanted to have the fellow get better.

He accepted the medicine without a complaint; he would not have even if what she was giving him tasted like rotten socks or eggs. She didn’t have to help him and could easily have passed her way and not have bothered helping him and letting him die. These were the thoughts that went through his mind.

He was sure that she looked as tired as he felt, well, maybe not as much since she didn’t nearly died but a few hours before, but she certainly looked in a bad shape. No problem? Yeah right. Notice here the mental roll of the eye. If he was no trouble for her than he would be the king of England. Now that could be a funny sight.

Potential potential. It was amazing what the mind could come up with, it often created situation where the embarrassment was crowned and controlled said situation. This one was not so, it was very much serious and life threatening. Had they been anywhere else than the mountains, the snow would have been already gone, but since they were high up in the mountains, it was not the case.

They were blocked here until he could walk by himself, which could take time. They were lucky some seer, had seen what had happened to him beforehand and had been kind enough to leave supplies for both him and Fia to survive on until they could both leave safely to a more appropriate hospital.

She looked like she needed it as well; she was covered in many cuts and had a variety of bruises from what he could see. He must not have looked much better, his air matted by blood and dirt, his face marred by bruises and cuts and his body one large wound.

‘’You should take some too.’’ He whispered to her.

He was talking about anti-infection medicine, it would do no good for the both of them if she fell ill.

She had such a headache, she felt as if she had drank. But she knew she didn't, the girl hated mornings. She felt so groggy, she just wanted to sleep she would've been sleeping if it wasn't for the man. She continued to tend to his wounds and stuff, though she looked so tired. She was a person who enjoyed nightime and hated mornings. She personally prefered waking when it was dark out and it remaining dark until she slept. Her head pounded, her eyes suddenly noticed the doorway. Shock covered her face, she'd be stuck with him for a while. She wouldn't be able to carry him through the snow all the way to the hospital through the heavy deep blanket of snow.

She looked at the snow in shock just staring at it, the girl looked so in shock and tired. She finished tending to his needs and then collasped on the floor from tiredness.

‘’You should take some too.’’

She sighed, "I don't need it, my body is used to fighting infection. I was born and raised on a ship so your bound to get hurt on a ship. My body doesn't need the extra push to heal." She said tiredly, she wasn't like other girls she could sleep just about anywhere whether soft or hard she could sleep. The only thing was the cold air, but a blanket eased the coldness making her warm and comfortable. She guessed the boy prefered a cushy soft bed for sleeping though.

She herself used to sleep on the streets when she was young. So anything warm was better than something cold.

James had never been a cushion needing man either; he could sleep anywhere and in most temperatures perfectly. His thin layer of fur prevented most of the cold from reaching his skin. Sure if the temperature should attain arctic temperatures, he would certainly be cold and need a lot more clothing than he did usually. He gave her a simple smile of thanks. They should both eat something and go back to sleeping, he knew he needed the rest and she looked like she needed a few more hours still.

Heck, he needed a lot of rest, days of complete inactiveness. He could not afford to move too much or he would strain his wavering reserves of energy. He couldn't bring himself to do anything. He couldn't even lift his arm.

"We should get some sleep." He said in a tired voice.

He hadn't been awake long, but he was already tired and if he was asleep, then she could get some sleep too. Slowly, his eyes closed and he drifted off to sleep, leaving her to have conversation by herself. He was better, but not better enough yet to need less than fourteen hours of sleep per day. So he fell into a deep sleep, leaving the woman alone with her thoughts.
