"Eh? Y...you can't just eat my fruits whenever you want! S-stop it!"
Name: Lilium Rafflesia Alstroemeria
Age: 18
Apparent Age: 16
Birthday: 17th November
Gender: Pistil
Species: Alraune (Synthesis Flower)
Class: High School
Grade: 12th Grade

Though she possesses many human features, Lili's body is primarily plantlike in composition. The majority of her body mass comes in the form of a huge pink and orange flower, almost six feet across. However, rather than the typical stamen and stigma that might protrude from the center, the body of a young girl can be found. Her skin appears a light peach, her figure resembling that of a girl in her mid-teens with her modest chest and subtle curves. Her hair, a bright turquoise colour, is typically styled by a pair of flowers whose vines intermingle with her twintails. With soft, feminine features and wide, golden-amber eyes, Lili is blessed with strikingly adorable attractiveness. If not for her lower legs being fused to the flower beneath her, and her pointed ears, she would be just about indistinguishable from a human. Lili's clothing typically consists of a petal-like skirt and a leafy belt, alongside a skintight white top that cups her chest and leaves much of her back exposed. Vines criss-cross down her legs and spiral along her arms, attached to bands fastened on her upper arms. Fruits of varying types can often be found growing across Lili and her flower, and she possesses four prehensile vines on which she can grow a variety of fruits.

Though it might seem strange given her pride, Lili is in fact incredibly shy. The reason this does not always show is that her shyness is primarily directed towards her own body. After Lili was not always an alraune, nor was she always female. This change was not welcome, and as such her body is not something she finds familiar or is comfortable with. She is very easily embarrassed by anything that highlights her newfound femininity, and is all too eager to push it as far away from her as possible. Teasing her about it, treating her like a girl, or grabbing her in the
Though it was suppressed before it could take control of her, Lili still exhibits some behaviours typical of a synthesis flower host. She craves company and attention more than she likes to admit, and is reluctant to let go of those who approach her.
Lili's specialities are biology, english and maths, though she does not enjoy the latter. She is generally well above average in all subjects, her only weakness being P.E. Despite her condition, she is a fan of computer games and other online activities, but also enjoys more traditional games. She is a sucker for just about any non-spicy food, especially sweet things. She is naturally scared of fire, but also dislikes plant-eating bugs and animals.

Powers: None
Species Abilities: As an alraune, Lili is much more limited in movement than most other creatures. In order to take in sustenance, she must remain rooted in the ground for extended periods of time and take in sunlight. The longer she remains in one place, the further her roots will spread over an area, causing the rapid growth of vegetation around her. She may influence the types of plants that grow, as well as exert control over them as though they were a part of her body. The affected area will soon return to normal if Lili is removed. It is not harmful to uproot her, but she will be incapable of lasting more than a few days without soil, water and light. Her slow metabolism means that she will sometimes sleep for extremely long periods of time, often spanning weeks. She may operate on a regular sleep schedule for a month or two, but will begin to degrade if not allowed extended sleep to recover. Fortunately, she will naturally begin to stir if a sentient being is detected in proximity to her, so that she is unlikely to miss any visitors. If she has remained rooted for several days and amassed a large resource pool, she may temporarily remove her humanoid body from her flower and walk around independently! She can only manage it for a day or so, though.
In addition to her humanoid body, Lili possesses control of four prehensile vines. These are typically tipped with nectar-producing flowers, but may also grow into fruits and other plants. Lili has indirect control over the petals of her flower - they will unravel when she wakes in the morning, and close for the night so that she can sleep. They may also close if she is in a particularly bad mood. It is recommended not to be standing in Lili's flower when it closes, because her lack of control over it means that it is very possible to become trapped inside until morning.
The nectar that Lili produces is heavily aromatic and incredibly sweet. It actually has mild aphrodisiac properties, but unless concentrated or consumed in large amounts this will only result in a pleasant warmth. This nectar can often be found pooling in the center of her flower, and is naturally secreted from various areas of her body. In addition to being quite delicious it also has healing and soothing properties, and promotes soft, healthy skin if bathed in. When combined with her pollen, her fruits, the natural scent of her body and of course her charming looks , Lili will passively attract all kinds of creatures over a very large area.
Lili's pollen is non-allergenic, usually harmless to those exposed to it. However, she may produce small amounts of more specialised pollen capable of inducing drowsiness, causing paralysis or attracting a specific creature.
In the case that Lili's main body is heavily damaged, she is capable of regrowing herself should any of her root system or subsequent vegetation remain. It takes her several days to return to full size, during which time she will appear to age to her usual appearance. This usual appearance does not age in any way, leaving her forever youthful if cared for correctly.
As a plant-based organism herself, Lili is much more in-tune with the natural world than most. Pollution and urbanised areas greatly reduce the effectiveness of her abilities and can cause her to grow ill in high concentrations. She is capable of understanding the needs and moods of plants, but their lack of sentience makes any kind of conversation difficult. Her presence speeds the growth of flora around her by a noticeable margin.

Lili was not born as the cute flower-girl she is today. Rather, she was born under the name Alex Botan, a perfectly normal human boy. He had no health conditions, and in fact showed faster mental development than most children. He wasn't the most sociable of types, but he soon cemented himself as one of the more intelligent bunch in the lot - a position he became perhaps a little too accustomed to. It was where his stubbornness first took root, and why it was something that stuck with him from then on.
He attended a school close to London, both in primary and secondary school. By the time he was approaching his late teens, his parents had both moved away, mostly because they saw the need to get him living on his own at some point. He may have been confident in his own abilities, but he had grown to take their support for granted which his parents wished to correct.
It was during this time that Alex encountered Dr. Maxie, his biology teacher. Dr. Maxie was incredibly passionate about his subject, especially plants, and was key in promoting Alex's own interest in the area.
However, Dr. Maxie was not researching typical plants. His most recent study involved the unusual Synthesis Flower, selectively pollinating and growing them in an attempt to create a harmless subspecies. His work was widely renowned to be successful, but he had been careless in bringing a sprout of one of his experiments to school. A single seed had escaped his notice, and begun germinating long after he had left to continue his research elsewhere.
Alex had stayed behind late one night because of work and helping out one of the clubs, and it was then that a curious scent reached his nose. It was only faint, but it was enough to draw him towards its source: An unused lab on the upper floors, which had been left unlocked. Unable to suppress the desire to investigate, Alex found himself almost helplessly drawn inside. A huge, soil-filled container took up much of the room, inside which a gigantic flower sat. Its colourful pattern was intoxicatingly beautiful, enhanced further by the sweet scent that lingered in the air. The instant Alex approached, vines shot out of the flower and ensnared him, dragging him inside and closing up around him.
The school discovered the plant the very next morning, and resorted to calling in a specialist in dealing with such unusual flora. They arrived as soon as possible, but the measures to prevent the plant from assimilating its host any further required equipment found only on the remote Manta Carlos Islands. By the time the journey and procedures were complete, it was already too late - for Alex's manhood, anyway. When the petals unfolded, the boy was nowhere to be seen. Instead, a pretty young girl stood in the centre of the flower. She still retained (most of) her mind, but her body had been completely reshapen according to the flower's needs, absorbed and fused with the rare plant. She was fortunate enough to still possess her memories and personality, though even those areas the flower had begun to encroach on. Not only would she find herself strangely keen to find company, but her name had been completely overwritten by the flower! Even if she were told her old name, the alias of "Lilium Rafflesia Alstroemeria" had been rooted too deeply in her subconscious to allow her to go by anything else. Anything other than Lili, that is.
