It was a fine night out, if the gentle giant could say so himself. The sky was clear and the moon shone bright as ever. It were times like these that he wished he could just jaunt down the street without a care and just enjoy the night. But alas, he was working today as a bouncer to an exclusive club. It was temporary. The employer was impressed at the sight of him. Well, the sight of him struggling to fit through his door that is. They had big people here, so why did he still have such a small door? That was simply baffling to Locke.

But anyway, the reason it was temporary was that looks were deceptive, and he needed to gauge how capable a bouncer the applicants were. And that is the reason why this walking wall of meat--no, this glorious, 9-foot-and-a-half wall of muscle, was standing by the door, arms crossed with a black shirt that seemingly wrapped around his muscles, pecs and abs. Intimidating for the men, a sight to behold to the ladies and any party that enjoys the sights of a man well-endowed in the muscle mass category.

Even though it was a slow day for the club, there were plenty of people gathered around the specimen. Everyone had been taking pictures of and with Locke. While he needed to kneel down on a knee to fit the frame, it was enjoyable for everyone involved. If he would be taken off the list of employees, it would be for the fact that everyone was too distracted to get into the club.

Although, with a rather big flash of light, and a short moment of weightlessness, that problem would be fixed. Except, the club didn't have a working bouncer that night anymore. "Argh... That felt like I've just had a bus hit me..." As his senses regained their functions, he found himself in a room with an odd design. This definitely wasn't prison. There was a huge open hallway going down. But luckily, he didn't have to crouch to get through the doorway.

Hearing a light shuffle, he turned his attention to a lady who seemed to be in the same situation as he was. "Good evening. I don't suppose you know where we are, do you?" he'd ask, offering a hand if she needed it.

Rita wouldn't have minded going for a walk herself on such a nice night, or at least flying around a bit. But she was more interested in meeting people than being solitary for the most part. So she had decided to check out this club, even though it was not something she'd usually do. At least she didn't have to be too fancy or wear a dress. The woman was simply dressed in black, with her hair done up, probably looking like a young college student and not at all like a school nurse.

Rita's eye was caught by the giant man. The dragon was used to tall men, but her brothers were not anywhere near that tall in human form. It was impressive. He could almost dwarf her even in her dragon form if her wings were tucked in. Although she wasn't one of the ones trying to get a photo, she was admiring the man.

As she finally made it to the head of the line, there was a disorienting flash of light, and Rita felt almost like she was flying. "What?!" With an exclamation that was more shock than anger, Rita spat out a tiny blast of flame. Then she accepted the giant's hand and got to her feet. The room was unfamiliar to her as well. "I have no idea where we are, but it looks like we're in the same situation. Guess it'd be a good time to ask your name, handsome. I'm a Drakenhardt, Rita. And if this is a kidnapping attempt, they've made a big mistake."

Eying the hallway, Rita decided to stay in human form for the moment. If it stayed this large, she could switch. Pretty bold of whoever this was to try kidnapping either of them - they could probably do a lot of damage to this building and whoever was in it if necessary. That wasn't even counting what would happen if her family found out.

Thinking of her family, Rita took out her phone - no reception. It would probably be best to try and find other people before jumping to any conclusions. "I suppose it wouldn't hurt to go further down this hallway. At least we don't seem trapped."

"Nice to meet you Rita. I'm Locke Wolfram."

Fair skin, red hair, and green eyes. Reminded him of Alice, the daughter of the crimelord he worked for in a past life, but it was anyone's guess how long ago that was. She too was a looker. Locked smiled.

"If we're exploring this... ship? building? You should stay behind me. If they're aggressive, I'd rather not have a patron get hurt while I'm on duty." Did it even count now that they weren't anywhere near the club? This was just an annoying predicament. He had been enjoying himself before, but now this happened. At least he had something nice to look at.

His full frame had little trouble traversing the hallway, which was a relief, but did that mean that their abductors were as big as him? It would make for a good fight, finally squaring off against something at least close to his height. Up ahead the hall expanded into a circular... umm... lobby? Or was it still considered a hall? Whatever it was, it was lined with similar passages. The one they came out of was just one of them.

Walking out further to see if anything was significant to them, Locke found a few things of interest, including the circular formation of screens and keypads at the center. Everything displayed there was in a language completely foreign to him. No one else was there either. For now at least. There were also some strange plants near the passages, and even some machines that resembled dispensers.

He looked to Rita, "Now where do we go?"

"Locke... you're new to the island, aren't you?" She might not have been back long enough to be recognized herself, but her family was large enough that most people who'd been on Manta Carlos any length of time would at least know the name. But Rita wasn't offended by Locke's assumption - she was aware that she just looked like a normal woman and very small next to the giant.

Laughing herself, she said, "Let's just say I could take care of myself if I needed to. Thanks for the thought though. You might as well lead - you are the most physically impressive at the moment."

Even though the hall they went down seemed like it would be large enough for her to shift to dragon if necessary, it wasn't quite big enough to accommodate her wingspan, and she didn't feel like keeping them tucked in the whole time. So she stuck to her human form as she followed Locke. At least she knew that she could transform if she needed to set a corridor on fire or something similar.

Raising an eyebrow at the lack of any people, Rita examined the strange machines and screen curiously, though she didn't recognize the language either. "If this is a kidnapping, they're certainly not very good at it." The woman debated using her fire like a blow torch to see if she could open the possible dispenser, but decided against it. No point in damaging property when she had no reason to.

"I... don't know. This looks like a place where people will eventually end up, but then we might be waiting awhile. Then again, if we go down a less-used corridor we could be waiting even longer. These screens... Maybe we should find something that looks like a camera? Try getting the attention of whoever did this?"

"I haven't been here long, that's true." That's what he said, but he could have been here before but in another life. Maybe decades or centuries past. Or was he remembering another place? Damn these memories, running into each other like a crying woman wearing heavy make-up. "Well if you insist, but I will not stand by and let a lady get hurt nonetheless." He took her word for it, but that didn't mean he didn't have to protect her. And besides, how many people say that but yet needed to be saved anyway? And being the most physically impressive? Well that went without saying. Just the sight of those muscles, even without flexing, would turn lesser beings away with their tails tucked between their legs.

Locke put his hand to his chin as he surveyed the area again. "It is strange..." He looked for anything asymmetrical in the room. Usually that would mean a camera. There were some strange circular panels on the ceiling though, which looked like camera apertures. Was that for something particular?

He walked closer to the screens to examine it closer. Not that he'd know the first thing of it. If only that cyborg was here, he'd be able to play around with this device, perhaps even take control of this vessel. "What do you think? Does this look like a sinister situation?" Just as he said that, his head jerked to one of the arc ways. "Over there, I think I heard a pneumatic door open..."
