"Be at the park at midnight. This is about our child. The messenger will tell you exactly where I want to meet."
This was the message she had one of her little helpers gave to a friend Sevina had a nice time with back in Mes. Sure, he broken, but that didn't bother her. He deserved to know the truth, that he was carrying his child. After all he went through, this would give him some happiness back in his life. She could just imagine it now, an expecting father's face.
But what if he wouldn't be as excited as she hoped? What would she do then? Well, like any good mother, she would have to carry the burden, raise the child by herself, nurse it to be a strong warrior. But that was looking too far into the future. She'll need to see what his reaction was first.
Glancing over to her watch, she could see it was almost time. Ten more minutes and she'll get to see the father of her child. She chose a private location. She felt like privacy was the most important thing when it came to things like this. She was in a secluded part of the park, one where there was just a single bench hidden behind a big tree. There was little in the way of lights here, giving it a nice, romantic, moonlit glow. She glanced up at the stars. Such a beautiful night it was.
In a few moments, she could hear multiple footsteps and the laughter of two people who feigned having the one between them as an old friend who they took for a night out. Sevina couldn't take the chance that the father of her soon-to-be child would just run away without spitting at her face if he did try to do so.
"Honey, you made it," she said so sweetly as she motioned for him to sit beside her. One of his escorts put him on the bench with force if needed. "You've gotten my message, right?"
