Adelyn Moonlight
Storm Clarisse Haywood

Adelyn’s tail swished behind her as she eagerly waited for her friend Stefan to arrive. After he had mentioned that he didn’t really have anyone to celebrate the holidays with, she insisted he spend time with her and Storm on Christmas Eve.

Storm didn’t quite have the same energy as her companion. Storm was tired. She was…really tired. This was a difficult time of year for her. Too many reminders of Clarisse everywhere she looked. But she was trying her best to keep it locked up, because she wanted Adelyn to enjoy this time.

Her first Christmas. She could see how all the lights and decorations dazzled Adelyn. She was so excited, and Storm was not about to drag her down with her own problems.

So the two waited by the large Christmas tree in the park, which they had the opportunity to see lit a few weeks prior. There was a moment when Storm caught the lights of the tree glowing in Adelyn’s eyes that stuck with her since that night. She was such a beautiful girl, and a beautiful soul—no wonder she was making little guy friends left and right at the school.

She hoped this ‘Stefan’—the boy who had invited her to the Winter’s Holiday Party—was a good kid. Storm knew they had danced, and even shared an ‘accident kiss’, which…she thought only happened in movies…

She hoped it was indeed an accident, and not a boy trying to use Adelyn’s naivety again her.

Well, all she could do is wait with Adelyn and decided how she felt about this boy for herself after meeting him.

There he was on his way to the park whistling a happy Christmas tune. Stefan was filled with all kinds of emotions but mostly excitement because he had never really spent Christmas with anyone else other then is own family, who were also busy this year so he had no one to spend it with. But this time was different and he was happy to spend the eve with someone who he cared about so much. Though he was a also a bit nervous since he didn't want to come off as a crazy person to Storm, who he had not yet meet at that point but hear many things about.

"Just be cool Stefan, just a friendly meet up" he muttered to him self as he continued to walk. Stefan really did feel something for Lyn, since she really made him happy and when he was around her he didn't feel like he needed to burn something to calm down. For once in his life he needed to act semi mature and buckle down on all of the crazy actions and remarks, not to mention lighting him self on fire at anytime or brining up burning anything.

He had finally made his way to the tree and he smiled and waved at the two and walked a little closer to them."Hello there, uhh merry Christmas" he said in a slightly shaky tone, but not enough for any normal person to notice. He decided in his head he would be him self just no off comments what so ever.

"Merry Christmas!" Adelyn said, waving her arms as she saw Stefan approaching. Storm was quiet as she examined the redheaded boy drawing near. Although, what she really noticed first was his scent. As he drew closer, that familiar smell of fire and what it could burn filled her nostrils. She was aware of his fire-related powers, as Adelyn had mentioned them before, so it was hardly unusual.

Once he approached, Storm held out her hand for Stefan to shake.

"Stefan, it's nice to finally meet you. I'm Storm."

Adelyn watched the two, her tail flicking side to side behind her. She was clearly eager to finally have Storm and Stefan meet, and hoped they would get along--just as she did with the two.

"I've heard a lot about you from Lyn," Storm added, glancing to the side toward her eager companion for a moment.

He shook her hand firmly and gave her a nod with his smile still filling his face. "Its a pleasure to meet you as well. I have also heard lots about you and they are fantastic things". Lyn had told him a bunch about Storm and from what he heard she was a very respectable person. So far she did seem like it and Stefan always enjoyed polite people. He tried to be polite most of the time but he always ended up messing something up, but not this time he was under a small bit of pressure but he was also really happy to finally hang out with someone on Christmas that actually wanted to hangout with him too.
