Sorcha looked up at Naka and smiled. It felt good to have his arms around her after what they just shared. She pulled the covers up and looked at her room, trying to see it through his eyes. There were some dirty clothes piled in the corner, her desk scattered with papers and a forgotten Coke sitting on her bedside table. The only thing that marked the room as hers was the sword collection hanging on the wall above the bed. Well she thought ruefully, it couldn't really be called a collection, there were only three.

"I can't believe that I am finally here with you like this." When she had first started having feelings for him, she would have never thought in a million years that he would be interested in her as well. She considered herself such an awkward misfit and social oddity that she had truly thought that she would never have this with anyone, especially not someone as caring and special as her Naka was. She reached up and ran her fingertips down the side of his face and grinned as she looked into his striking violet eyes. Just looking at him made her feel "giddy" inside, she couldnt do anything but break out in a big smile.

She leaned in to kiss him, closing her eyes and enjoying the freedom to express herself in something as simple as a kiss. She thought she would go ahead and finally tell him what happened the night her mother and brothers died. He would be the first person who ever heard it besides those involved. She briefly wondered how much they really knew about each other. She knew that there was a lot of herself she had yet to share, but somehow, instead of that being a frightening thought, it was as though it just meant there was more to discover.

Grabbing his hand and holding on tight and putting her head on his shoulder she said softly,"What don't I know about you Nakata Ishikawa?"

Naka wrapped his arms more tightly around Sorcha and kissed the top of her forehead. She wanted him to talk to her about his past it would seem, but he wasn't sure that his early life was great pillow talk. It was their first time altogether both with each other and at all. Given Naka's lifestyle hadn't exactly opened him up to intimate relationships.
" I watched the man that had been my father kill the woman that had been my mother, and then I saw him get his head blown off with a shotgun. Then I found out that my biological father killed my biological mother to protect me and left me with my adoptive parents. Violence surrounds my birth." He explained. it was more than what he had told others, given he had only recently found out about his biological father. This of course made his last name Kagerouryu, and not Ishikawa, but he continued to go by his adoptive surname simply so that he could hold onto a bit of his past. he vowed to ensure the past didn't repeat itself.

He wasn't sure where to begin. Being the new head of a yakuza family? Finding out his ability to copy powers was designed by shinto deities and left some future child or grand child of his with the possibility of become the mate to a goddess. Yeah, his life had gotten a whole lot more complicated.
"I don't know where to start. The world has become much more complicated for me in the last few months." He said as he traced his fingertips down her back.

Sorcha reached up and wrapped her arms around Naka and hugged him tightly."I too know the violence of family member's death. I watched my mother and two brothers killed by senseless violence."She didn't go into detail of her constant companion, guilt for what happened that night. How she still feels responsible for the breaking apart and death of her family.

Leaning back and grabbing his hand again she said to him,"You can start wherever you want. Take your time, and I shall share along with you. How is that? You already know my own powers. What exactly are yours? I am familiar with the regeneration of course." She smiled remembering that first time on the third floor when he first told her about it. She also remembered that on that day, she was convinced that all she wanted was to be left alone.

Shaking her head she looked up at her Naka,"I was just thinking back when I first met you, I am so glad that you convinced me to be your friend. You have made me so much more appreciative of having someone to shared things with. Now, before I get sidetracked, tell me about your powers, and oh, oh, about the new ones you just got. You told me that day in the hall about the one in the forest?"

She realized that if he answered all of her questions, she was just about guaranteed to spend the next few hours alone with him. Taking their hands where they were clasped she raised them and kissed him. Smiling she looked up at him."Go ahead when your ready"

Naka started in on his abilities just as she had requested, it was going to be troublesome though explaining most of them since it seemed that a portion of his understanding was instinctual, possibly sub human.
"Apparently, my power is to copy other powers. Only up to five of them so I'm full now, but my power, along with five others are derrivative of scrolls created by gods for humans to have for various reasons. The scroll that I inherited is apparently to serve as the endgame. If my son, because only the first born male will have this power, manages to copy the powers of the scrolls, he'll somehow become the husband of the goddess of the sun, Amaterasu. To be honest I'm not sure how it all factors in, but apparently I copied one of the scroll powers from my father, and will pass it onto my son someday." He explained. It was very tedious, there were a million details he just couldn't include because they were far too extensive. Still he continued on, seeing at least a few points he wanted to clarify.

"I can't be her husband because I have already copied powers that aren't of the scrolls. Beyond that, any passive power I copy becomes active, meaning that even if the person I copy it from is constantly affected by it, I will have to activate it and deactivate it. That being said it's only for limited amounts of time, such is in the case of my Devil Drive and Eternal Drive abilities. Each of them were constant properties that I gleaned from others, Eternal Drive from a friend who shall remain nameless unless fate decides to reveal him, and Devil Drive was copied from Miles. You know about my regeneration and my electricity, but the last power I keep secret." He explained, not wanting to get into Oyashiro's beheading dance. To date, no one knew about it save for him and there was a good reason for it. That particular ability allowed him to move fast enough to destabalize whatever he touched. It was a less than honorable tactic, and he wouldn't even use the speed from it for anything because of that very reason. Still, he could see himself using it to protect Sorcha if need be.

Sorcha pullled away and looked at him, the first thing she got caught up on was the whole thing about his son. "Wait, your saying that its possible for your son to be the husband of a God? Are you serious? All he has to do is copy the powers of a few scrolls and he will be that powerful?" She shook her head and leaned back and looked at the opposite wall with an awed look on her face. Wow, she couldn't believe that she knew someone who might have a kid who might become the husband of some ancient Goddess. Yeah, there were a lot of mights in there but it was still pretty awesome.

Turning around so that she was sitting Indian style in front of him, she rearranged the covers, cocking her head to the left, she absently started running her hand up and down his leg while she thought about what he just said. She knew she wasn't stupid but she really needed to break down what he just said so that she could get a better grasp on it."So, in a nutshell, there are six scrolls representing six different epic powers. Professor K, and then because he did that thingy with the sword , gave one of them to you. Yours is the most important, but there are five more out there. If your son, or the first born male of your line copies all of the powers he becomes the husband of the this sun goddess.?"It was mind boggling to think of any "goddess" being married. I mean they must have had husbands, they did have kids after all but still.

Picking up his hand, Sorcha intertwined her fingers with his and looked down at their joined hands. She felt this surge of pride that her Naka was of the family that had such an important role. How is it that she, plain old Sorcha ended up sitting here next to him? She was secretly glad of the thing where Naka couldn't be the one. She was already jealous enough that she didn't want to think about him having to be with anyone else. Not that she had thought about marriage or anything like that in regards to Naka. She hadn't really thought past what they had just shared.

Wow, she thought, it was true, her mind went off on tangents so quickly. She ruefully chuckled to herself, it was something she figured was just a part of who she was. Once a thought went into her head, she just took it off on all of these other paths and usually somebody had to bring her back to the original subject. She shook her head, looked at Naka, leaned over and gave him a kiss. Sitting back she suddenly remembered his last sentence. At first there was a sense of hurt that he wouldn't reveal a secret to her after the time they spent together and how close they had obviously become. However, she knew that she herself, still had things not revealed to him. And although she wanted to know everything about him, he was entitled to those secrets as much as she was to hers. "So how long do these powers last when you activate them? How do you activate them? I mean is there something special you do because they are time specific? And oh my goddess, I just remembered, you never told me about Professor Kage, he is your father? Why didn't you know it? I mean, he was here the whole time and he never told you?I know I am throwing a bunch of questions at you but I really want to know as much as I can about you. Your very very important to me"

She leaned down and wrapped her arms around him and first kissed his chin and then laid her head down on his shoulder."My Naka"
