Ariel lay in bed. She had been tossing and turning most of the night. Normally sleeping on her back was comfortable and she was out within minutes, but tonight was different, and no matter how she turned, twisted or moved she still seemed to find no sense of comfort in her bed. She sighed as she stared up at the ceiling, which had been adorned with glow in the dark stars. Something had happened today, not bad, just different. She wasn't sure how to deal with it or even what to do about it.
Nearby she could hear the sound of her sister breathing. The pair shared a room. Their own dorm space was one of the few suites available to special cases. Two bedrooms, with two beds each, a common kitchen and living area as well as bathroom. It was like an apartment within the dorms. Ariel and Brigid were inseparable at this point, having had little to no real world experience meant that they had a certain co-dependance. Separating them into different rooms would just be a bad idea.
"Hey... Hey Brigid? Are you awake?" Aries asked as she rolled over to look at her sister's bed. They had always been able to talk about stuff, and since coming to the island, and being away from their father, Ariel had become more dependant on the opinions of her sister.
