Appearance Description: Kyros is a pure black american shorthair cat. From nose to tail tip, he is approximately 2 feet of angry, wiry feline. His fur is usually very clean, however it gets really messy in hot weather. He has brilliant, mesmerizing green eyes, the kind that you know he's judging the very core of your being and not impressed with what he sees.
Personality Description: Kyros is a typically calm feline, however he is still very much feral - he will attack anyone who tries to touch him. Kyros is rather aggressive towards other felines, canines and unfamiliar humans. With very specific officers, he will tolerate their presence long enough for them to show him who they want him to follow or find. Kyros is intelligent enough to understand simple human phrases and what they mean, but has never shown interest in learning to understand long explanations, complex terms or letters. If you want to communicate with him you either lie on the floor or give him some place for him to sit at your eye level.
Don’t expect this cat to love you. Ever. He is an angry ball of fur. Kyros' handler is the only one allowed to touch him, and only when Kyros wants to be touched. The relationship dynamic between them is solely based on the police work that he does, despite multiple efforts on his handler's part.
Powers: Hallucinations: By staring into a human’s eyes, Kyros can force them to hallucinate. By default, the hallucinations are of the person’s worst fear, however that may manifest. If needed, he can control the hallucinations to show one of his own memories, or target the hippocampus of the person hallucinating to a certain emotion. The hallucinations are broken by losing contact with Kyros’s eyes within 20 seconds from when the hallucination starts, which requires a good deal of will force. If you don’t try to break away, then the hallucinations will continue until Kyros ends them.

While still feral, he allowed the officers to feed him and returned every time there was unfavourable weather. After the first few months he was unofficially adopted by the MCPD, and officially adopted after they discovered he had powers. He has since been trained, and is an official police cat.
