Karhrie liked that she had a room to herself.
It gave her some privacy & some serenity. Also, she'd feel pretty uncomfortable having to share a room with someone else.
She hadn't had much contact with humans, for longer than a few minutes, since years ago....

Karhrie opened the curtains of her room & looked out the window.
It was a beautiful sunny day out & she smiled. Then began unpacking her belongings.

Maybe I'll be able to settle down here in this place.... Karhrie thought. It feels rather nice to finally stay in one location.

....I wonder what sort of people live here, & what their powers are.
I never even knew there where people out there like me, until now.
Karhrie began humming softly as she unpacked.

I feel so nervous...

After finishing, Karhrie decided to explore the Academy.

Sorcha was simultaneously thinking about her recent practice session and all the homework she still had to get through as she walked into the lobby of the girls dorm. She wasn't paying attention until she was almost on top of a girl she didn't recognize. She had dark hair and brown eyes, she was also short. Well, to be honest with herself, she wasn't so much as short as she was about six inches shorter than her own 5'11". She was such a little bitty thing. She wondered what the new girls powers were. In her own personal experience, the smaller people tended to have the most devastating abilities. It might not be such a bad idea to find out what she could about the new student.

"Oh, sorry for almost running into you. I was thinking about too many things at once and not paying attention to where i was going."She held out her hand and introduced herself,"You're new here right? My name is Sorcha and your are?"
