Animal empathy :[BCOLOR=transparent]Being that she is half vampire she gains the power to talk with animals which gets her teased when she lived in the church. The ability to understand creatures speech and has some charm over them is a very common ability for vampires though rarely talked about. She can do this with most animals ...well all but dogs. Dogs and her have a big problems. Being as they are more viewed as one of the main things she dislikes in the world and the creature the hunters enjoy using to hunt their victims. [/BCOLOR]

( It's reaches only about fifteen feet from her own body) A power a bit more rare to vampires is the ability to control a element, Normally only in the pureblood lines of vampires Kaiyo develops this ability as she tries to suppress her vampire side. After just one use of the of this power it leaves her with the need to feed on blood to regain her strength. So she would only use this in last resort cases.[/BCOLOR]

Longer Life: Being as she is a half vampire her life spand is much longer then that of a human and can live if not killed for well as long as they are not killed. Ageing only until adulthood.
Day walker: Unlike a vampire of pure of pure blood line she has the ablility to walk around like a normal teenager during the day with out having to worry about turning to ash...or worse.
Weaknesses: Silver still effects her though anything that can harm human can hurt her just as bad.

Fears: Vampires - This was because of what had happenin her past and even though she is half vampire they still frighten her greatly. Kaiyo even goes as far as to file down her own fangs to look more human, hiding any proof of blood drinking in her own private room.
Biography:
Kaiyo was conceived out of a love struck affair of a simple peasant girl from the village and a pure blood vampire. An affair was destined to be very short-lived because of the pure blood council strict ban of mixing pure vampire blood and that of a mere mortal. Seeing anything of the kind was quickly taken as a direct violation of this law and the outright creation of hybrids. Children born of the mixing of blood where seen as abominations having no loyalty to the night or day species. Their abilities to survive on the blood of humans as well as human food kept the council from ever really killing them. Natural outcasts of the races hybrid children had to learn more on their own or alongside their adopted parents. Mortality (Humanity) was filled with ill-mannered and countless acts of disobedience, which was known throughout the night as humans did more harm than ever they did good. Kaiyo’s parents were able to keep this a secret for almost six long human years before getting caught by then “Red Hounds of Loren” or the counsel’s merciless watchmen. On the very eve of Kaiyo’s birth her parents- Both rule breakers were instantly put to death. Though the pure blood council had spared her life and the allowed the village to raise the child until she would come of age. Kaiyo never fully felt accepted in the mortal village. Kaiyo was first raised in the local church by the peaceful nuns who gave her very little mind and although she worked hard in every task appointed her. Given that she grew up in that church for most of her childhood, she does seem to hold onto the values of virtues taught to her and tries to not fall prey to the evil vices of the cruel world around her.
As it was to be she was never to obtain knowledge of her true nature, which had given the villagers the right to worry about how to care for an unwanted half breed. Would she be blood thirsty and kill without cause? Would she be a danger to the village? No answers were given as she aged far slower than that of any of the mortal children. It was hard for her to attend school in any normal village or to create friends for the fact everyone else was aging at the rate much more normal then she. She was passed around to different people in the village without children until the day she had become fourteen years of age. Running away from the village after killing one of the men at the local inn. The male had intended on flirting with her while half-drunk. Her vampiric side had awoken through fear, which caused her to drain the male without mercy. Blooded and worn out she made her way to the city. Blending in the best she could, always having to watch her back in case of the council's watchmen had found her hiding place. Word broke out about a dhampir unable to suppress it’s need to feed. The purebloods from her village acted quickly to remedy their mistake letting the child live and sent out bounty hunters to clean up the mess.
She lives on her own for a while before there was talk about the hunters seen around the town she was hiding in. That night sh knew they would do a deep surch of the place as everyone else slept. Fear quickly crept in and she panics. Packing up what ever fit into a small traveling bag and a smaller suitcase. Being that she was so focused on getting out of town , she almost misses a letter on the kitichen table. Now it was not there when she woke up this morning . The letter was some sort of invite to an island to study. at Starlght Academy. " So... my choices are to get killed by the same people that killed my parents or go to Hogwarts ..." This brings her to live on the island as she followed the directions and for the time being a safe place from danger.
But there was nothing sweet about being born a hybrid, much less a half vampire. Creatures made to consume the life blood of other creatures. Her guilt of not being able to erase what she had done haunts her to this day. People try to convince her it was simply nature and that humans were nothing more than blood bags. But then no one thought about how humans didn't needs vampires to survive...vampires needed humans. It was kind of funny how the darker creatures looked down upon mortals as weak and gullible species. They were far much more important than any other creature and clearly more free than those of the night.There had been so much pain in her life because of the world of night that the quiet life seemed to fill more hopes in staying alive and unnoticed by the darker part of our world. Although she did learn a great deal with knifes and how to defend herself if needed. Never picked up a blade, rather she found books to be the perfect escape from the world. Helping after classes in the school’s library and taking any extra credit assignments which left her busy and away from the training. She found a love for the sweet nature of the kawaii lifestyle. She wears a school approved style dress everywhere she goes. Kaiyo tries to avoid most people being as she tries to hide the small cuts on her arms due to her being a secret cutter. There usually is candy wrappers wherever she goes being as she can’t ever really stop eating candy and will make some bad candy quotes.
