Delilah Summers walked through the empty halls with no plan in what direction she was going to go. Her brown loose curls were in a perfectly placed ponytail. She held onto her sweater tightly as she suddenly found herself walking into the ballroom. She looked around the dark empty room, the fact that it was so big made her feel so small and unimportant. Then suddenly her attention was directed to the sudden chill coming from the ballroom balcony. She walked herself over the balcony railing, leaning over ever so slightly to catch a glimpse of the below view. Her deep brown eyes lifted to the sky.

It was such a beautiful night, the moon was bright, the star were shinning and yet something didn't sit right with Summers. She felt uptight and was very alert of the things around her as if she didn't want to be caught off guard, by anything or anyone; if there was one thing in the world she hated it was just that. She could not quite understand why she hated this feeling of surprise, and she acted as though she was trained not to be caught off guard. Her uptight awareness gave her the feeling that she had something to hide, which she clearly did not..

Summers closed her bright watchful brown eyes and just listened to the sounds of the night. If just then a pin dropped she would know it or rather she would hear it. How perfectly still she was and for a moment nothing mattered to her, absolutely nothing.
