Semi-Annual Survey
Yup, it's that time of year again!
Do you love SA? Do you want to give back? Do you want to help the site improve? It's easy to do so — all you need to do is fill out this survey! We're looking for thorough answers and constructive feedback that can help us make SA even better than it already is. <3 This is also your chance to air any issues you may have anonymously! Thank you for all your help!
Please try to give more than "Yes" and "No" answers! We want to hear why you feel the way you do.
Locations
We just want to remind everyone that the Locations forum is a thing! This is the place where you can store information about certain locations; for example, your characters house/dorm, a neat hideout in the woods, a special location, etc.! We know many of you have threads in the Free For All forum that has this info, so please feel free to contact a staffer if you'd like those to be relocated to the Locations forum.
New FAQ Page
We've noticed some people struggling with what counts as a weakness on apps, so please check out this FAQ Page that elaborates on the subject.
June Events!
Missing Persons
There are people going missing all over the island. Is this related to the March Virus? Is your character missing... or are they joining the search to discover the truth?
Cross-Cultural Cookout
It's time for another ICC event! Check out the ICC on the weekend through June 23rd - June 26th and check out the Cross-Cultural Cookout! There'll be food, swimming on the beach, and lots of fun to be had.

Character: Orsick Drakenhardt
Plot: Dadgelo
@Ashes is a bright member of Starlight Academy. Ashes greets people with enthusiasm every time someone enters the cbox, which sends a warm feeling to everyone that takes notice. They are a fantastic role player, making her characters feel lifelike with their own quirks and ambitions. She is friendly inside and out of her role playing, making everyone that is around her feel just a bit better whilst being in her presence. She is a truly valued member of this site and has given many people moments that they can hold dear!
Orsick is the newest member of the Drakenhardt clan and a member of the Monster Squad, a group of children deemed strange who have come together and offered support for each other. He's not a big talker, but he sure is protective of his friends, and his dragon design is interesting (and cute to boot!) as he's more or less blind in his dragon form, relying on other senses to get by.
He's a newer character, and very young (at only ten years old), but somehow @Max!! has managed to write this character relatable and in such a way that he stands out from other children characters. He has a natural confidence and firm opinions but still acts like a child in his playful mannerisms and the ease at which he is embarrassed by his mistakes.
Sometimes most fun plots come completely unplanned, and Dadgelo is one of those plots. While not planned in the slightest, Angelo Genovese, local cop, ended up sort-of-accidentally adopting not just Shay Rosales, but all the Rosales kids. Angelo's gone from a single bachelor to having to take care of a dozen kids, and the constant interaction between all the different kids about how it's all playing out is super fun to read.
