Personality Description: Jun Hyuga is a complicated mage. He isn't much of a talker when he is with unfamiliar people. However with friends, he can talk quite a bit. Jun is an avid fan of magic, blades and anime. He will annoy you with his hobbies if you're unlucky enough. He enjoys the unforseen and revels in the unpredictable. Jun may seem jovial and a bit dumb, but he is a serious mage. When it comes to magic, Jun has done his homework. In battle, he will coldly and concisely pick apart your magic and find out how he can put a sword in you.
Species Abilities: While a talented mage, Jun is only human. He isn't undying, eternally youthful or omniscient. He bleeds, he cries, he gets sick. Jun is a human being at the end of the day. This means that while it is hard to kill him, it can be done..
Powers: Chrono Control: Jun Hyuga possesses a degree of control over time itself. This talent manifested when he was young. Those he targets try to kill him before he uses this type of magecraft. Jun applies his use of this power in five different ways.
Speed Up: Anything touched by Jun has its time accelerated. It only works on other objects and lifeforms. A lot of people can resist this ability if they can't be touched. Jun mainly uses this to turn his blades into projectiles that hit with all the speed and force of a bullet. It consumes a lot of mana depending on how many things he throws. Attacks using only one or two blades don't consume that much mana. Throwing over a hundred blades consumes just as much energy as going for a run.
Slow Down: Anything touched by Jun slows down to speeds similar to a clockhand ticking away. Jun will sometimes use this magic to turn the rubble that flies upward during some of his fights into floating barricades. It can also be used on falling objects to prevent damage. This ability can only be activated through touch, gaseous, non corporeal or simply smart beings/items are completely immune. It requires a lot of mana to maintain this magic. This can burn through as much energy as a full body workout.
Internal Slow Down: Jun slows his internal time down to mask his presence. This includes his heartrate and breathing patterns. With this, he can hide himself from enemies who aren't experts in detection or sensory magic. However it is a magic that carries the risk of death. If slowed down for too long, his body will shut down and he'll die. Using this spell for ten minutes can burn through a lot of magical energy.
Chrono Accel: This allows Jun to speed up all of his bodily functions and movements. In combat this makes him much faster than his opponents. He can strike faster, hit harder and move quicker. Using it for too long will overload him and give him a rather painful death. For this reason, Jun only uses this power in short bursts. It also burns through mana at a fast rate. A solid five to seven minutes using this will use enough mana to risk passing out.
Chronoa Sphere: This is the ultimate application of his Chrono Control. Its basic form allows Jun to completely stop time for up to five seconds. This consumes an entire quarter of his magical power. This means Jun can only use it four times before needing to rest. On the odd day when he feels like risking death, he can stop time for an extra fifth time. This does cause his nose to bleed uncontrollably, while also dulling all of his movements and senses. In its full form, it is a reality overlay that allows Jun Hyuga to freely control the time in his surroundings. However it fully depletes his magical energy upon deactivation. Jun once tried to use it twice in a row, he almost coughed up his guts...
Blade Creation: While Chrono Control can be used to manipulate the flow of combat or outcome of a battle. The way Jun fights this battle is with his blade creation. This ability allows him to create swords out of magical energy in the air. He gives half of the mana to create a formless shape, then takes mana from the air to give his thoughts form. This is a noticeable weakness of Blade Creation. One requires internal mana to shape the external mana. Bigger and more powerful swords require more and more magical power to create. For example creating his usual paired blades Hikari and Yukari requires a small amount of mana. As a result of their low mana requirement, they are a quick and easy thing for Jun to create. This ability cannot be used without mana. It cannot be used while time is stopped and it requires focus to be used correctly. Without proper focus and mana channelling, Jun could create blades of weak quality and durability.
