Joran

Human Form: Stands 5'8, thin agile build, pale skin with scales at certain areas, white medium length hair, green reptilian eyes, clothing is usually plain white and black pants and shirts, has a long scar at the bottom of his throat. Overall it's hard to judge his age, people guess anywhere from fourteen to fifteen.

Snake Form: 5 feet long, has very colorful scales.

Joran is an incredibly calm individual, you'll very rarely see him get angry or panic under any circumstances. Like any good predator he's incredibly observant, noticing small details and mannerisms in people that go unnoticed to most, if in a hostile situation he'll use this to his advantage. Despite his young age, he's lethal, that doesn't make him hostile though, yes he knows many ways to kill, but he's actually quite warm and welcoming once you get to know him, that said, he has trust issues, his past has given him little reason to trust people, he's particularly cautious around humans, he doesn't hate them, he just tends to be careful around them, ironically he does enjoy helping people, and can't sit by while others need aid, it's a very odd contradiction. At his core he's quite scholarly and intelligent, its rare to see him without a book of some kind, he reads both fiction and non fiction. As he's currently unable to talk, he's developed the habit of using notes to communicate.

Enhanced Intelligence: His intelligence is enhanced beyond that of a average human his age, he learns things at four times the rate and has photographic memory.
•Enhanced Skills: Because of his enhanced intelligence, he was able to pick up the skills he was trained in faster than humans. To be frank, he's a near master level assassin, silent and deadly, he knows numerous ways to kills a person as well as how to remain silent when moving about, he's particularly skilled with knives.

No Scent/Taste: He has no scent or taste people can pick up on. Rendering him invisible to senses that pick up on them.

Human Form: While in this form he's essentially a human snake hybrid.
•Physically Enhanced: He's extremely flexible, can bend and twist his body in ways not possible for a human.
•Taste: He has the ability to "taste" the air with his snake like tongue, through this hes able to track people as if he had a predatory sense of smell
•Venom: He has two retractable fangs that produce a vemon, it's not lethal but it is paralytic, it cause the area bitten to become completely numb and useless, like if an arm bitten it'd go limp. It's temporary and it's affects will fade in a half an hour or so.

Snake Form: He's able to shift into a snake form, it's an unusual hybrid species, currently he's the size of a large viper.
•Infrared: He's able to see in infrared via the specialized organs in his mouth as most snakes have.
•Venom: Fangs are not long retractable, has the same vemon ad his human form.
•Taste: Same sense of taste for hunting as human form.

Weaknesses:
•Cold Temperatures: As a reptile he's vulnerable to cold temperatures, the colder it gers the weaker and slower he'll be, he's very vulnerable to ice based magics.

•Joran wasn't born, he was created. Bioengineerd in a military lab hidden in a desert in the US.
•The lab was designing genetically modified soldiers and assassins for the military by splicing the DNA of different species together.
•Joran was the product of one of their experiments, grown in their labs from day one he was raised to fulfill one purpose: to kill for the military leaders who'd commissioned his creation.
•Every day was nothing but training, in combat stealth and anything else that could prove useful for an assassin. The methods were cruel and abusive, designed to break his spirit.
•Ate age twelve he rebelled, or at least tried to, he killed several guards and his thoat was badly injured, apparently rendering him mute.
•A year later he tried again, this time he escaped, killing several guards during. Eventually he made it to a town and rumors of a snake bot spread, a scout was sent to collect him and the lab was shut down.
•Taking the name Joran he's brought to Manta Carlos.

•He chose the name Joran himself after coming to the island.
•He's not permanently mute, his ability to talk will return given time and positive reinforcement, because of the extremely negative nature of his upbringing this has yet to happen.
