Appearance Description:

(original artwork: https://www.deviantart.com/a6a7/art/Fool-ish-Amber-140362713 )
Jin is tall, standing a bit over six feet, and is lanky.
If not for the subtle breathing, you might mistake the man for a statue, or vampire with how pale he is.
His eyes resemble amber being held in the sun, his hair golden as prime straw.
Personality Description:
Outwardly: If any being was born for the role of “Bard” it would have been Jin. Warmth and an infectious mirth swell from the man. Between his enchanting voice, and propensity to talk with his hands, he is very animated, to say the least.
Inwardly.
Turmoil is a large part of Jin. Having recently lost nearly all connection to magic he’s ever possessed has left a chasm in the man, a longing unlike any he’s ever been forced to endure in his long life-— more so than even his obsession could muster. Something he thought not possible. Lonesome and to a great extent, bitter, Jin seeks to fill the void left in himself by teaching others what he can no longer posse
Active Abilities:
The only active magically abilities Jin has left is a mage hand, also known as light telekinesis. Being one of the first spells jin ever learned the magic left an imprint on the man's soul, and while it can't be used to lift heavy things or move anything particularly far away it is indeed... handy.
Passive Abilities:
Drahgon’s gaze. : Drahgon’s have the passive abilities to see magic, be it passive or active, magic is seen as visual hues, glows, shapes, or other patterns that relate to the sort of spell that magic is being used as.
Weaknesses:
Biography:
Jin Dalahan.
Where to start in this man’s extremely long tale…?
Jin was born in the shadow of “ The tower of Eons” in the port town of Leen. His upbringing was well off, Jin seldom struggled for anything of want outside of his obsession.
In his adolescence he helped clear the lower levels of the tower, finding tomes and ledgers thought lost to the First burning, earning him respect amongst his peers, and the eyes of the high council.
With many years of dedication and effort, Jin found himself in the position of Archmage.
During his time as Archmage, he assisted with connecting the tower to other realms, expanding the great library’s reach to other realms, which would ultimately be his downfall.
During what would later be referred to as “The shattering” Jin found himself at odds with the Tower Master, and wound up trapped for an imperceptible amount of time within the now horrifyingly twisted library turned tomb.
The peril that Jin faced while trapped in the tower ranged from beast to vile traps… to the point that danger was mundane…
He was freed by a young woman eventually… though the cost was great. He can not exactly recall the events that lead to his freedom, but the acute sense of longing and loneliness gnaw at him. A face that shimmers just outside of recognition whispers to him “ Be free again.”
Upon Jin's landing on the mainland, he quickly became distraught. The once vivid and shimmering world he knew and loved was little more than a watercolor painting left outside by a forgetful child. The lack of any magic in the world tore at the man.
Thankfully, there were still sparks of life in this mundane realm. The scout Jin approached eventually told him of a place akin to his home-— and more importantly: How to get there.
Resources: Jin lives on a small enchanted boat docked on the outer edge of the island. He has a modest chest of gold and a shelf of spell books to his name. Not much else.

The Race
»»————- ————-«« Drahgon’s »»————- ————-««
Drahgon’s , that is what the first race who ever met these beings called him.
Human-like in shape and appearance, Drahgon’s are a long lived race who existed
With an expressed purpose to “collect knowledge” This was known as the “Greater Obsession”. Drahgons by their nature all are driven to collect, it is their Obsessions to do so. This is what caused Humans to give them this name. Their own name was long forgotten during the First burning of their library, Menara eons.
Aside from the compulsion to collect, they have the ability to see magic in almost every form, giving them the propensity to become expert mages of all flavors.
