Biography:
The power of a Ranger is sometimes given to those who are worthy, and other times given to those who have a great destiny. But sometimes the power ends up in he hands of those who are neither worthy, nor do they possess a great destiny. Such was the case for Jeff's dad, Martin Solaris. When Martin went off to battle against a monster who came and attacked his family, Jeff's mom Elena was murdered by the vile creature. It was then that Martin hung up the suit and vowed never again to don the device that he had once used. Still he knew Earth was going to need something as a means of protecting it, and so he turned to genetic engineering. If he was not worthy of the power, he'd make someone who could be. Using his DNA and that of his deceased wife, Martin spent most of his fortune to engineer a son for himself. But he didn't stop there. Knowing the Ranger powers weren't going to be enough, he decided on something else. His son was going to be a cyborg, but with his components on the inside of his body rather than on the outside of his body. Thus, the experiment was completed and from it Jeff Solaris was made.
Jeff was grown in a test-tube. Information and fake memories were downloaded into his brain via a mix of chemicals, and electrical shocks. Yet the cybernetics didn't take, and so they had to remove them in order to save his life. Without the Cybernetics, his dad knew he could be useless. Jeff was abandoned near Africa. During his travels he met an old man who had once been the Embodiment of Flame, and had powers over Fire. Since the guy was dying, he offered to make a pact with Jeff. In return for Jeff taking over, he'd give Jeff what powers he had. The bargain was made, and so the powers of Ignis, the Lord of Flame were bestowed upon Jeff, turning him into the personification, the living embodiment of Fire itself.
Yet Jeff's body couldn't handle the immense strain that such power could have on his body. This was why he visited his uncle, James Solaris who used some of Martin's designs to craft a device that could allow him to safely harness the powers he possessed, without the risk of burning himself out. From there, James gave Jeff some money and told him to go explore the world and hone his skills.
During his travels to find somewhere to belong, he was captured by a police officer. The officer shuffled him around to other cities, and one of the officers in another city knew about Starlight Academy. So Jeff was sent there, and has only recently arrived.

Powers:

There are abilities that he gains when he turns into this form.
- 3x Peak Human: When he is in the form of Lord Ignis, all of his physical attributes are sharpened to roughly three times the level of what a human should be capable of at their peak. What this means is that he is very dangerous should he decide to release the limiter that normally keeps him at 1 and 1/2 x what a Peak Human should be capable of. Furthermore, this puts an immense strain on his body, leaving him tired out and vulnerable when he reverts back to his human form. This power is one that was created from combining the magical fire powers of Lord Ignis, with the science of the suit that harnesses his powers.
- Fire Magic - Burning Shot: Creating an orb in front of him of red energy, Jeff will press both of his hands to the orb, and they will be absorbed. This will shoot a torrent of flames, the size of a fully loaded mini van at an opponent. This fire is special in that it will only harm those with ill intent towards Jeff. This can automatically be extinguished if it comes in contact with any sort of water magic, or if it hits someone without ill intent towards him.
- Fire Magic: - Arena: A spell that he can use that lasts for a good 15 minutes. What this spell does is transport himself, and his opponent to an alternate dimension. There, any damage to property and what not does not affect the main dimension. This is something that can allow him to battle his opponent without regard for collateral damages of any kind. Any injuries sustained in there heal at their natural rate when the time period ends. Fire Magic Arena could be broken if he is knocked out, or taken done, or his concentration broken. In addition, as this requires most of his power to maintain, forcing him to use more than 10% of his fire powers will automatically end the Fire Magic Arena. Any use of water magic, or water within the arena could also shut down said arena. Given the Arena takes him a good half hour to recharge after shut down, he doesn't often like to spam it, because it is very tiring on his reserves of magic.

Flarefang, Blade of Desolation - Sword Mode
The sword shown is the signature weapon of Jeff when he is in his transformed form. This sword can channel his fire powers more efficiently, allowing him to send arcing waves of fire at opponents with slashes. This sword is also a powerful item, capable of clashing with magical blades without breaking. The sword is presently also capable of igniting with fire. The sword is able to be summoned in both his civilian, and his transformed state.
