Faeyt gave a quiet gasp at all of the presents — and she was quick to discard her crutches in favor of chancing a fall — to scramble to sit beside of the tree. She tilted her head as she picked one of the closest presents up, before signing excitedly — "Santa Claus! Daddy!"
The child beamed toward her father as she began to open the first present — and she swiftly moved on to the others... Soon enough she was surrounded by multiple types of wrapping paper, and soon enough, she was dividing her toys out.
There was an action figures group, a doll group, a book group, a coloring book group, and so forth and so on. She beamed upward at her father, before she promptly began to worry over her boots.
Faeyt was less careful with her boots, as she tugged them off and by doing so, the brace on her left leg began to come off. The little toddler seemed to know what she was doing, with the way she took off the braces and sat them aside with the crutches.
She peered toward her daddy as she signed, "Nurse always lets me take them off if I don't have to walk a lot." She tried to remember the sign for the word she needed. "Tenuous."
